I met my daughter here to celebrate her birthday. I'd seen a few Facebook posts from the Cafe and even though it's almost an hour away, I wanted to try it. Really cute and cozy interior. There were a few littles playing in the play area, and a few people sitting around on laptops. We had no complaints other than there were no decaf options for coffee. Maybe that was just for today? The blueberry cheesecake French toast is amazing. The latte was amazing. My daughter had some kind of potato breakfast bowl that looked yummy. If they were closer, I'd probably spend way too much time in here! Also, got the blueberry zucchini bread to go, and tried it later. Highly recommended!!!
We discovered this little gem while visiting from IN. Perfect place for me to enjoy a hot cappuccino and read while my 4 and 1.5 played in the spacious play area. We went back again the next day and they played again for 2 hours. Excellent service, delicious cappuccino ☕️ and welcoming atmosphere that's great for leisure, families, or working/studying!
I loved this spot for my birthday! It's a great place to go get some work done or meet with people because it's cozy and quiet enough to talk but not too quiet to be comfortable.
The Persnickety Crane Cafe is a small coffee shop that offers food. The coffee is very good and tasty. Not many tables and chairs available. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for reading my review and a thumbs up ?? would let me know others read these comments. Have a great day.

Great place for a quick healthy option. Awesome for families or parents with young children, because they have a play area.

We've been fans for years, but tried out dinner with our two young kids. They were able to enjoy the play area while we enjoyed a delicious meal. I highly recommend this cafe for anyone, but especially parents!

My family and I visited yesterday during their new dinner hours for Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant has a unique setup that you don't typically find in most, which is having a play area for children. This is available even during their breakfast and lunch hours, but if you and your significant other would like to go on a date it makes it that much more enjoyable for young children who don't want to sit at a table.
The atmosphere was inviting, and they played nice music throughout dinner. The service was excellent, and their three course prix fixe menu had plenty of options to choose from or you could go a-la-carte. The portion sizes were just right, and the quality and flavors were very good.
Overall, I recommend visiting their location during any meal. They are a unique place that is family friendly and conveniently located. Unfortunately, the dinner crowd was a little small, but they just started offering dinner on the weekends and their google page shows them as closed during that time, so people may not be aware they are open.

Delicious Food except french toast sucked (not soaked in egg wash, just cold dry toast with wierd spread of whipped cream on one side and something else on the other and not served with syrup). But my brekky was great!.

I’ve always wanted to try this place out because they hyped up the kids area and how wonderful it is for moms. My first impression when I walked in is how nicely decorated the inside was. Then I got to look at the menu and instantly panicked. Everything felt a little overpriced for what you’re getting. As a one income family and a stay-at-home mom, I just need somewhere affordable for my kids and myself whilst enjoying some play time outside of our home. I was shocked to find out that ordering one bacon, egg and cheese from a “KIDS MENU” cost me $10.30, a bagel with cream cheese cost me almost $5, and a small mason jar of iced coffee cost me almost $8. And with taxes plus tips, these 3 items cost me about $30!!! ? That’s INSANE!
Lastly, the kids play area was crowded with very disruptive kids and no parental supervision!!! Specifically this one mom who had the audacity to yell at another kid when HER kid was the one being disrespectful, damaging toys, and taking things away from other kids. Unbelievable. Also, how often do the toys get sanitized?! I hope once day at least! There were kids coughing all over the toys and parents don’t care getting others sick. I left the place feeling gross and overwhelmed.
I wish I could give this place a better review… maybe that’s why they’re struggling to keep this place open. Focus on cleanliness and prices and maybe you’ll attract more families and moms who can afford a bagel and cup of coffee for themselves. ?

I wish more places offered the play area for littles! Such a great place to meet with friends. The coffee is always delicious, and the food is fresh!
It's definitely worth a stop in. Staff are polite.

Service was extremely poor, and the place wasn’t busy at all. It was our first time trying this coffee shop and we will never be back. The coffee was underwhelming at best and it didn’t even come out until everybody had long finished their food. The staff gave very few updates and seemed short with me and almost frustrated that I had even asked for an update.

Wouldn’t allow me to feed my child their chicken fingers from another restaurant even though I just spent over $20 in their restaurant.
I had been here before and decided to go with friend for her first time.
We both got iced coffee and a muesli cups. The coffee was a seasonal lemon cheesecake and it was wayyy too lemony of syrup .I asked for a change since it was too much and sickening. The batista told me "we made it correctly," and refused to make a new cup of coffee. These cups are small, 3/4 ice, 1/4 coffee and an upcharge for heavy cream. These are NOT cheap coffees. After all said in done $11 on a gross cup of coffee that I forced to drink is not ok.
The food is smalllll portions for the price and the coffee again starts off at $6 for a 12 oz iced coffee. It was nearly $46 for 2 drinks and 2 mini sized breakfast.
I no longer recommend this company. I had beautiful experiences up until then. What happened to customer first??!!
