As a local, this is my go-to spot! The staff are friendly, the space is thoughtfully designed, and the chai lattes are excellent.

My children ask to visit “Rickety Crane” (an unfortunate but cute mispronunciation) often— they love it! I do too. While I worry about children running out the exits since their area isn’t gated, the play area is great for little ones and I can watch them while enjoying a delicious coffee and treat. I also love their grazing platter options for children. You can tell they know kids! We love a coffee shop that is family friendly!

So nice to come to a real coffee shop again. I also love the balance between work friendly and family friendly. Have a play area for the kids but also a work area if you want to be more secluded. I love the atmosphere here it is so homey and friendly. Food is fresh and original like a real cafe should be.

First time here. Delicious menu. Lots of goodies to choose from whether it's for breakfast or lunch. I enjoyed the avocado toast with bacon. The only down side for me...it was too noisy. I get the family atmosphere concept, however too many babies crying and toddlers running around. I was meeting a friend there to converse over coffee while having our breakfast since the website was very inviting. However, we had to move twice so we can at least hear each other talk which was a bit annoying. Parents just let their kids roam around. It was like an indoor playground that serves great coffee.

I met my daughter here to celebrate her birthday. I'd seen a few Facebook posts from the Cafe and even though it's almost an hour away, I wanted to try it. Really cute and cozy interior. There were a few littles playing in the play area, and a few people sitting around on laptops. We had no complaints other than there were no decaf options for coffee. Maybe that was just for today? The blueberry cheesecake French toast is amazing. The latte was amazing. My daughter had some kind of potato breakfast bowl that looked yummy. If they were closer, I'd probably spend way too much time in here! Also, got the blueberry zucchini bread to go, and tried it later. Highly recommended!!!

We discovered this little gem while visiting from IN. Perfect place for me to enjoy a hot cappuccino and read while my 4 and 1.5 played in the spacious play area. We went back again the next day and they played again for 2 hours. Excellent service, delicious cappuccino ☕️ and welcoming atmosphere that's great for leisure, families, or working/studying!

I loved this spot for my birthday! It's a great place to go get some work done or meet with people because it's cozy and quiet enough to talk but not too quiet to be comfortable.

The Persnickety Crane Cafe is a small coffee shop that offers food. The coffee is very good and tasty. Not many tables and chairs available. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for reading my review and a thumbs up ?? would let me know others read these comments. Have a great day.

We've been fans for years, but tried out dinner with our two young kids. They were able to enjoy the play area while we enjoyed a delicious meal. I highly recommend this cafe for anyone, but especially parents!

My family and I visited yesterday during their new dinner hours for Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant has a unique setup that you don't typically find in most, which is having a play area for children. This is available even during their breakfast and lunch hours, but if you and your significant other would like to go on a date it makes it that much more enjoyable for young children who don't want to sit at a table.

The atmosphere was inviting, and they played nice music throughout dinner. The service was excellent, and their three course prix fixe menu had plenty of options to choose from or you could go a-la-carte. The portion sizes were just right, and the quality and flavors were very good.

Overall, I recommend visiting their location during any meal. They are a unique place that is family friendly and conveniently located. Unfortunately, the dinner crowd was a little small, but they just started offering dinner on the weekends and their google page shows them as closed during that time, so people may not be aware they are open.
