Pho diner vietnamese cuisine

It was just alright. $30 for lunch good? Definitely not. The broth was tasty and they give you all the pho fixins. It was supposed to come w round AND flank steak. The meat in the bowl appeared to be one kind and it was equivalent to one slice of lunch meat. The service was neither here nor there and bringing the food out on the cart you use to bus tables w is crazy. The lack of uniform aka lounge wear is off putting; the inside is very nice.

I am terribly disappointed because a restaurant called Pho Diner VA places packets insight of their takeout containers on top of the food. Who knows who touched the packets and what he or she touched beforehand, gloved or not. This is an unsanitary practice when we are on alert because of COVID and other issues. I was told that this is how they prepare their food for takeout. They lost customers and don’t seem to care after it was brough to their attention. We had been loyal customers until now. I am not driving back from Hampton to show them how the food was prepared. It is great inconvenience in the rain. I shared the photo and the receipt online. Phenomenal!! Alexia was incredibly wonderful and coming from NYC, this food was authentic and DELICIOUS. Best Vietnamese food in Virginia.

Really good food. Really good.
Server was trying hard and doing fairly well, but got "run over" by the family running the place a few times.

The "family business " is a bit aggressive on pricing and restrictions (to the poi t of questioning needing one extra pair of chopsticks) - and while I can't fault greed, throwing the server under the bus over a free soda for a birthday guest was just a little too far. (It's like $5. On a $90 meal.... Yell at the server later.)

Thank you Pho Diner for making our daughter's 15th birthday special! We arrived with 15 people for a family dinner and the Pho Diner team were amazing! The food was excellent, came out quickly, and they even played a special birthday song when we pulled out the cake. I know our large group was loud, but we had an amazing time all thanks to the great service and good food. We'll definitely be back many times!

Large menu has much more than pho. Been twice and it has been great

Came in today and was greeted and sat at a booth near the entrance. This experience was nothing compared to the first time i came. We ordered our 2 waters and 1 hot tea, we ended up waiting for 10+ minutes and still never received our drinks. We watched our waiter run food to at least 3 other tables without updating us on our drinks or asking if we were ready to order anything. My first experience the food and service was good but today was very disappointing especially since we drove from Hampton expecting an experience similar to the last. We ended up just walking out and eating elsewhere.

The pork vermicelli with extra fish sauce is a weekly go to for me. It tastes so fresh and delicious. They also make a killer salmon avocado roll.

Great food! We really enjoy the chicken vermicelli and the pho. Also can’t go wrong with the sushi. The staff are extremely friendly.

We travel about an hour to eat here. The pho is excellent. I get it with the meatballs. The grilled chicken, with either rice or vermicelli rice noodles, is superb. I've eaten in several Vietnamese restaurants in Richmond and Williamsburg. Pho Diner is far better.
