Notice said wine dinner began at 5pm however they lied because once there they announced it really starts at 5:30pm so we could have a cocktail first at OUR expense! Most wine dinners we have attended offer a sip of something to welcome folks. Despite the generous wine pours, beautifully arranged dishes and menu, and presentations, all dishes were served cold (have you heard of heat lamps?) vegetables were overcooked, and steak was grizzly. Food was overall delicious. Brussel sprouts was a nice big portion and really flavorful. Med steak was certainly cooked more rare. Salmon was some of the best I've had. Nice thick fillet cooked perfectly. Chef may want to re-think the cauliflower purée (tasteless, soupy consistency). Nice place, but not too fancy.

Riverwalk is located right on the York river. The ambiance is pleasant. The server was knowledgable. Appetizers were fantastic. However, the grilled Branzino was overly fishy and not prepared great. Others in my group really enjoyed the crab cakes and short rib.

We had out-of-town visitors and took them to the Sunday Brunch. We wanted them to get the whole waterfront vibe, view, etc. The food was excellent and there was a guitarist playing lovely background music. The price was slightly higher than I expected, but all-in-all, it was a great experience.

Wonderful restaurant on the York River. The food was amazing, we had it all! The stuffed mushrooms were delicious, hush puppies were sweet and crispy on the outside, steaks so tender and we even had dessert! Every bite was perfection. Jason, our waiter, was super attentive and friendly. We are so glad we finally tried out the Riverwalk restaurant and will definitely be back.

We loved our Christmas Eve Dinner at Riverwalk! Jeanne was our server and she was amazing! Attentive with great recommendations! Such a great place to come to celebrate! Also? They have a Happy Hour - highly recommend! We will be back!
We have lived in Yorktown for a little over 3 years, but for some unknown reason we've never come to Riverwalk. We visited twice in the month of December once early and once just around my birthday. Besides the atmosphere being wonderful with a beautiful view, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious and we did not rush to get us out. I think this is now a new regular stop for us.

1st time here and didn’t disappoint!! Come early and walk through this historic small town, and snap a photo in front of the LOVE sign! Food was delectable as well as the drinks and dessert. Jeannie was super friendly and helpful, as well as down to earth! Experience this gem and the memories by visiting!!!

This is an amazing experience. The food is divine, the staff is very attentive but not obtrusive. We roll in deep usually with a group of 15 to 20 and they have met the challenge that a large group presents time and time again for years now. The food, the scenery, the service are all phenomenal.

I'm so glad to have visited Riverwalk restaurant! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was top notch. Our server, Jeannie was so attentive and provided prompt service. Even the manager, Brenda, took time to stop by our table to greet us and make sure our needs were being met. All of the food was a hit - seafood fritto, fried oysters on a half shelf, beef tenderloin, and the freshest lump crab cakes!! I can't say enough great things about this place. It's a 10 out 10!!
