Make sure you taste your smoothie before you leave the cafe. I have had multiple experiences where my smoothie had large chunks or fruit and ice. Which made it hard to consume my smoothie through a straw.

I've been going to this location for 3 years, weekly. I had someone new make a smoothie that tasted nothing like it should taste. I said I was in a rush, didnt have time to wait for another one, asked for a refund. I was advised that they won't consider issuing a refund. Called the next day to speak to a manager and was advised the manager isn't in but if I state my concern she would pass it to him IF she deems it necessary. No genuine concern displayed. Good Business sense says you issue a $8 refund to someone who spends more than $50 a week at the location because you know they'll be back to purchase again tomorrow. Bull I'll drive 20 min out of my way to another location before I step foot back into that location. Too bad the two veterans/managers weren't there. I'll miss the Cranberry Truffles made the correct way and excellent customer service they displayed.

A good smoothie.My only complaint is the tip screen. I am not a fan of this increasing tip culture. I usually tip anyway, and I did.But I don't find this on par with waiters, delivery drivers, and others that really have to work for their wages. To the management/ownership, I would say to pay the employees a fair wage and adjust prices to reflect. Adding a tip screen preys upon nice people (like me).I am always less inclined to visit an establishment that asks for tips when it should not be.To add: As I left, I was aggressively solicited for donations by someone who set up a display outside the door to Tropical Smoothie. I was guilted, and I gave a donation. There's nothing like going in for a $7 smoothie and spending $20.Yes. I understand that I can say no to tipping and no to donations. But I am a sucker and easily guilty. It is easier to say no to returning.Vegetarian options: Many smoothies and things to eat that are vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: I have many dietary restrictions, but I find plenty of options here.

Quality of food is ok. Portions are usually smaller than most other Tropical Smoothie Cafes. Container for premium side was punched up more than normal seemingly in an attempt to reduce volume while appearing to be full.

Just got a pick-up order for two smoothies. While the smoothies were decent, although too thin and on the runny side, the customer service is what merits the single star. I have never ordered to go, and had no idea that there was an area where you pick them up. When I explained to the person making the smoothies that I had a pick up for (and my name), they say nothing and POINT to where I am supposed to pick them up. That's not how you do it. Usually they say something like "welcome to tropical smoothie cafe" or something like that when I come in. This person seemed to be very rude and not very observant of his customers. If it's like this typically, while I haven't ordered here in a very long time ,I don't think I will be ordering from you guys anymore. I have never had this issue before, and it's disheartening you'd allow this kind of behavior by someone you are paying to work for you. Shame, shame.

Order from here a lot, and was disappointed. The young guy that made the order didn't do great as the owners, this isn't the first time my smoothie wasn't good when he made it. Both smoothies were icy, loose and taste all the fruit in chunks. This needs to be addressed. Thanks!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Ordered ahead 3 smoothies and 2 quesidillas. Been sick all day trying to make sure the kids get lunch. Told 5 to 10 minutes order would be ready. Had 69 dollars in cash on me. Sent the girls in with a 50 dollar bill for an order totaling $36.46. The young man working the register refused service said they don't accept 50s. They didn't mention that on the phone when the order was placed and there was no sign at the register stating that. I asked for the manager he said he was the manager then a woman came up claiming she was the manager. I explained he lied about being the manager and that I only had cash on me to purchase my order and no one nor any sign at their store stated they couldn't accept cash or 50s prior to me coming to get my order. An hour later she reluctantly gives me the order she would have rather thrown away than accept my 50 dollar bill for. All that for $13.53 in change from the register. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE GONE THERE FOR 10 YEARS AND WILL NOT RETURN. PLEASE GIVE A DIFFERENT STORE YOUR MONEY.

Seriously the kids that work here are super lazy and rude.. totally didn’t think about it being a Sunday (oops on my part) and walked in at 7:59, just for them to tell me at 8 sorry were closed. Like it would take 2 mins to make the one strawberry banana smoothie I came in to get. Being a bartender/server for 10 years, I’m a pretty decent tipper, I mean I tip the pizza people when I go in to get carry out. So ??♀️ won’t be visiting this location from here on out. Don’t mind driving to the next one personally.
