We ate here for lunch on a Monday. Food was good staff was helpful and friendly, very much a teamwork mentality and I love that! The fried pickles were tasty, the shrimp was hearty, and the Devils Backbone Bourbon Apple Cider Smash was served to me in a requested ice cold mug! Hometown pub with a water front view! We had a teenager with us and there was no issue before 10pm!

Wonderful place! It was our first time there and Lindsey was sweet and attentive. The food was great and we loved the view. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and my husband had a big juicy burger. Highly recommend!

Been coming here since first getting stationed here back in the 80’s. The location, food, drink, atmosphere and staff are all top notch. Probably my favorite eating/drinking establishment in the Tidewater area over the 40 years I’ve been coming here - Love it.

We ate there one day and went out of our way the next day to go back. Service is good, parking is ok, but we walked from the shuttle stop. The bacon cheeseburger is great and is very thick like burgers used to be. The fried mushrooms were fresh and crisp with a side of ranch. It can be a bit noisy, but it IS a pub.

I would love to have posted a picture of the burger I ordered, but it was devoured before the thought could arrive successfully. The staff was very accommodating even though our group of 8 arrived less than an hour before the kitchen closed. I truly didn’t expect the service and food to be as good as one another. I can’t outweigh the better of the two. Thanks for a great evening for my homies and I
Awesome place, highly recommend. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend. We had the window, water view. Very nice. We got the Boomer fish tacos, the crab cake sandwich, and onion rings. The fish was delicious. Tender and juicy. The crab cake was meaty and not a lot of filling. The onion rings were perfectly crispy. The green beans had a sweet flavor. Added salt then very tasty.

My wife and I went for dinner at the Pub. My wife ordered a bowl of the “famous” chili, and I ordered a plate of the Southwest Nachos. The chili was ok, but wasn’t hot enough. (temperature) It was sent back and still wasn’t hot. Bread wasn’t offered. My plate of nachos consisted of a pile of chips with gummy cheese, a few tablespoons of chili and chopped tomatoes. Sour cream was extra. The bottom layer of chips had no toppings. The website touts the Pub has a newer chef and a cook with a lot of experience. Of course, these were only two of their offerings but neither were anything special. The nachos were definitely not worth $13.25. Everything served at a restaurant should be special and delicious. The Pub missed the mark and if we return to Yorktown it won’t be our choice for food. Chili - 5/10 Nachos - 2/10
