Had the gluten free tuna melt and was surprised that it was an open sandwich. Glad it was because it was small and it barely filled me up with the potato chips as the side. The new waitress was very helpful and came by numerous times to insure we were good with everything. Get atmosphere and inviting.

I had such a fantastic experience here! šāØ The burger was absolutely delicious ā juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. You can really tell they care about quality. The decorations added so much character to the space, and the overall atmosphere felt lively yet comfortable at the same time. š¶
When I visited, they even had live music playing, which made the whole experience even more special and fun. It created such a great vibe and made it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening. š¤šø
Iām already excited to come back and explore more items on the menu because if the burger was that good, I can only imagine how amazing everything else tastes! š Definitely a place worth revisiting!

Had reservations for 2 on Valentines day. Called ahead as my bf is disabled. There was no available HC parking. There wasn't even any type of Valentine's type atmosphere, such as a simple little candle on the table. He had surf and turf. The shrimp was on top of the haddock which was on top of the very tiny steak which was on top of the french fries. The presentation was horrible. Will not return there again. Very overated.

We had such a great night at Ladder 1 Grill. The historic firehouse atmosphere is so unique, and the service was genuinely friendly and attentive. We were treated to live music while our family enjoyed cheeseburgers and mashed potatoes, a delicious open-faced turkey sandwich, and the prime rib specialāeverything was excellent. A fun, delicious, and affordable evening all around. Definitely check it out!

Updating to distinguish between rolls and garlic knots otherwise the owner seems to think we had the wrong place. Just left there after 45 mins and terrible service. Waitress dropped off a Salad and GARLIC KNOTSā and our drinks. She never came back over to the table. Over 30 minutes no food no service. We paid for what we ate and left. The waitress had an attitude and did not care. There were only three tables sat at this time, the lack of service was the core issue. Wonāt be back.

When I received my check , the bill came to around 83$ . The server didnāt like the fact that I left 10$, she said clear as day āthatās not 20% of the billā I asked to speak to the manager ..
no manager shocker . I took the 10 back . So please donāt praise your employees like everyone one is above and beyond , because that is false .
This is the best restaurant in Barre. The atmosphere is wonderful the staff is gracious and attentive and the food is fabulous!! My brother and nephew play there once in a while.

Had dinner at Ladder 1 Grill night before last for my wifeās 40th birthday. We had the onion rings with what they call is the bang sauce (its ranch) and I had a pizza and my wife had the fish and chips.
We had a great time. The parking was behind the building and you enter from the left side. My only suggestion would be to add a parking sign pointing down the alley where the parking is.
It was really interesting hearing about the history of the building. We will definitely be back. Such a cool atmosphere!
