We have been here numerous times now since about 2 months ago, and each time the owner engages us not only in order to serve us, but to answer questions about the food, where the recipes come from, and more. Inevitably, he almost always asks us if we would like to try something off the menu, which we do.The food is great: tasty, different, and a pleasant experience to try.It is important to note: if you are going to come here and you expect Americanized Brazilian food, don't. That is not the experience you will get and you will not be as happy. If you go with the intent to try something new, break away from your happy mold and into an expanded culinary world, then you will be well satisfied. This food is created and served as if you were visiting someone's home in Brazil. The owner talks to you, asks you what you would like to try, welcomes your feedback, and does his best to ensure that you enjoy what you eat.
Absolutely AMAZING! We were there when they were only serving the buffet. Food was authentic and delicious. Rice and beans were melt in your mouth and the meat was cooked perfectly. 1000% recommend ❤️
Food is amazing! Owners went out of their way to return my husbands jacket that was left on the chair which had his wallet in it. Everything was there upon it's return. Very honest and caring people. Highly recommended you visit if you haven't and again if you already have.
I’m Brazilian and live on Montpelier area, I can tell this is authentic Brazilian food, love this place and the staff, they real care to make it taste the same as homemade Brazilian food, highly recommend to other Brazilians and who want to try real BR food.
Dinner Buffet. Need i say more? On Tues & Wed it’s $16 for all you can eat chargrilled steak, chicken wrapped in bacon, tortellini, creamy chicken casserole, salad bar, fried potatoes, yucca, and more. Other nights it’s $20. The meats are delicious! Very friendly staff as well.
Visited 7/27/22. Our first visit here was incredible. For a short and simple take- this is hands down the BEST food in Barre- and the competition isn't even close. Don't hesitate, go. You're going to leave happy. If you want all the details, read on..The inside of the restaurant is clean, welcoming and quite pretty. Clean painted walls, a roomy dining space and a very modern buffet setup. It's not lavish, but it's not outdated either. Made in Brazil keeps it's main focus on it's great food. It's tucked away on main street and it can be very easy to overlook, but once you get inside, it's quite the sanctuary from downtown Barre. It's set up as a buffet with a selection of about 14 different entrees, a separate salad bar, and last but certainly not least- a grilled meat counter. Here you can get sliced beef or chicken that has been slow cooked rotisserie style. Every dish here is phenomenal. The meat dishes are tender, the produce is fresh, and everything is seasoned so well that the spice counter seems like a tongue-in-cheek joke. Made in Brazil offers quality seasoned meat dishes with sides that serve to accentuate and compliment them. They offer a wide range of flavors that are all unique and highlight a specific ingredient. The $17-20 cost of entry for this buffet is such an amazing value prospect. Seeing the variety, quality and atmosphere, you start to wonder why you aren't paying $30 a plate. The owners/operators are also wonderful. They are humble, kind, and clearly take massive pride in the restaurant they run. This is my new hidden gem of Barre- but I hope it won't be hidden for long. It is my hope this restaurant has massive success, if only for my selfish desire to go here for many years to come.
I got a Steak meal dish (over white rice) which came with Potatoes, a small Tomato, Onion and Lettuce salad along with black beans. I definitely missed out by getting takeout, but from what I experienced, the whole meal was great and tasty and exceeded my expectations.
The best food, the best service. Gluten friendly. We come way more often than we should and they are always welcoming, accommodating, and it's BYOB. The buffet style is always fresh and delicious! Would recommend to everyone!
If you love delicious food you owe it to yourself eat here. Everything I tried from buffet was excellent. The owner is very friendly and personable. Definitely of the best dining experience I’ve had in this area. Food was just great!! And not overpriced which is nice for a change. I will absolutely be back!!!
First visit here, but won’t be my last. Owner greeted us immediately as we came in. Sat us in one of the booths. Table had a table cloth on it. Something you don’t see now aday’s. It was clean. Placed the order based on his recommendation after asking him. Owner is the one who waits on the tables as only the two owners are the only ones who work there. He was very personable. We ordered the Mocequea. When the order came out it was presented very well on the plate. Was hot as well. 10 out of 10 on the taste. Was delicious!! I highly recommend this place. I would give it more stars if I could.

This is a newer restaurant that was entirely rum by 2 people. They were literally running to get everything everyone needed. They ran out of plates and knives but refilled them in pretty short order. Everything I had was really good. Give them a chance, they will grow into a phenomenal place.
Vegetarian options: They had a good selection of vegetarian options including grilled pineapple.
Dietary restrictions: As soon as I told him I couldn't eat dairy and my husband couldn't eat gluten, he walked us through all of the items that were safe for each if us to eat, even remembering later while he was carving meat.
The owner is very personable and I personally loved the food. I will go again.
The food was fresh and full of flavor. the owners are inviting and provided excellent service. Highly recommend giving them a try.
Great flavors. Amazing value!Tender meats; flavorful spices and a very earnest staff. Meats are amazingly tender and the best across many states! It is a buffet style with very humble presentation. Do not be shy and do try the different meats. Even the bacon wrapped chicken was surprisingly good. The proprietor goes to source his meats, fresh, weekly, never frozen and it is some of the tenderest this diner, who’s visited all 50 US states, South America, Europe and Asia, has ever tasted.Confortable seating and tablecloths! This diner felt well cared for.
