Food is great. Decent sizing and portions are well. The amount of veggies that you get on your pizza is fair. Their sandwiches are good, not fantastic, but fair. The main issue is pricing. They have become pretty expensive over the last couple years. So much so that it now overtakes the pricing in all local pizza places! Still some of the best non-NY style pizza in the area but so darn expensive.....
Mister Z's was great. The pizza and calzone was done perfectly. It's not too expensive either and they serve beer.
Hands down, terrible food. The pizza crust seemed like it was bought pre-made and overall the pizza had no flavor. The sub had 1 slice of turkey and they forgot to put mayo on it. Prices are over the top in general but made even worse by the horrible food.
Service is always quick. Been here a few times in the last couple of weeks and I love the calzone! Going to be returning for sure!
They definitely got hit hard during the pandemic and unfortunately it still shows. Menu has been really pulled back. No more burgers They used to have a really good chicken Alfredo, thats gone too. Basically back to pizza, calzones, and toasted subs and fried chicken. It still not bad but paired with the lack of service, "Order here" sign, signs directing you where to empty, leave dishes, etc its a little off putting. I wish they could be staffed like they used to be id come back more, but right now it feels like the magic is gone.
$12 for about a cup of macaroni and cheese. Seriously? It's dry and tasteless. Never again. This was my first time getting takeout there. And my last.
Pizza was delicious. You pretty much serve yourselves here these days. Atmosphere was quite not really many people if you like that. Not much of a beer selection, but they do have beer and wine
it is sad from what this place used to be the family and i used to go once or twice a week before covid some of the best food and since they reopen food tasted different but I understand food price and not a lot of revenue coming in but the last three time I've gone in I always order the spaghetti and meatballs but the last three time once the meat ball was still froze and the other to they were soft but cold like they were in the fridge I've call and no resolution or apologies
Great Calzones and Mac n Cheese. Their pizza is delicious too. Weird dining layout but good space to dine in.
Great food but could have more of a selection. A bit overpriced for so little. Not really impressed with how often they get my orders wrong lately. If I'm paying good money, please get it right.

Mister Z's has something for just about everyone. I went for the Italian Grinder. It was well toasted and had just the right amount of oil on it. If you have ever been to a house of pizza it has the same vide and taste to it. The inside is small so seating is limited. Also parking can be an issue at this place. The service was good and the place was nice and clean. You can see my full review on YouTube at Review Time With Tim
Kid-friendliness: Yes it is
Parking: Tight parking
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps
Gathering for older crowd atmosphere after work to get dinner with a bartender service ???✌️???.
Sure, there's beer and subs, but, It is all about the antipasto! Generous portions a great deal!! Forget the very long wait at the two popular restaurants a block or so away, Mister Z's loads on the feta, olives and more. Ravioli was a fine, but the salad stole the show!
After leaving Stowe, we were getting hungry and discovered Mister Z.'s, an Italian restaurant that specializes in Mac n' Cheese, Pasta, Fish n' Chips, Hot Oven Grinders, Wraps, Pizza, Calzones, and Salads. Since it wasn't packed at non-peak hour, we were allowed to pick wherever we'd like to sit. It was an order at the bar kind of establishment. Our party of 4 shared a Caesar Salad with Anchovies, Thin Crust Margherita Pizza, and Cheese Ravioli. Everything was simple but tasted great!
Parking: Small parking lot
I liked the pizza but not up to the place in Florida we love. $50 was a little much for 2 large pizza
Parking: Not great with a pickup truck
