Visited while we were vacationing in Vermont. Great atmosphere and food! I had the Spinach and Artichoke grilled cheese and it did not disappoint!

Absolutely love dining here, always friendly and amazing service and the food never disappoints. Today was the Donna’s Oreo Cheesecake 10/10. Worth every penny.

We went here for the first time today, and on the way home I've already recommended it to two friends. The sandwiches and fries were delicious, our server was friendly and helpful and it's the most cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We'll definitely go back, it's worth the drive for us.

I’m not a fan of grilled cheese sandwiches, that is, until I skeptically went to “The Meltdown.” I say “skeptically “ because, why would I go to a grilled cheese restaurant? But here I was…and here I will continue to go. I was stunned when I tasted these sandwiches. I’ve been blown away by the different flavors. I’d eat mine, though not all of it because they’re big. Enough for another meal. But all who were in my party each time would try a taste of each other’s. They are delicious. And the Parmesan fries are amazing. I have encouraged any visitors to try this place. Kudos to The Meltdown folks!!

First off, it is open on Sundays which gives it 5 stars off the bat. Everything in Vermont tends to close on Sundays, and Mondays, so the owner says she wanted to get all that business by being open on Sunday, which I think is smart. I had a regular grilled cheese and I thought it was good but not great, my partner had a specialty grilled cheese that was amazing. Also have the corn chowder which was incredibly good. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Friendly waitstaff service with a modern cool vibe. Outdoor seating a plus especially on this beautiful fall day! Way to go Meltdown! Oh and my beautiful wife paid for lunch which was another plus.

We had a great dinner last night. The staff are the friendliest and most attentive wait staff around! Our meals came out quickly and were hot and delicious. Very thankful to have such a great restaurant in the area.

This place never ceases to amaze me. The food is incredible but the service is 10x better than that if that is even possible. Can’t wait to go back.
This was the best find! The hostess, Amy, was so kind and friendly and made us feel right at home. We had amazing poutine, corn chowder, and grilled cheese! Perfect little spot, highly recommend.

Great spot for comfort food!
Drove by a couple of times and it just looks like a familiar spot, as in somewhere where you could hang out with friends on the patio. Wanted soup so we stopped by.
Service was good, food was good. Ordered the soup flight and although they were all delicious (the corn chowder, tomato soup, and cheddar ale soup), all of them were surprisingly thin... not what you would expect especially from the cheddar ale and chowder. I'm a sucker for French onion and that soup was good. Brie fig and apple sandwich was excellent and I'm glad we ordered one to share because it was VERY rich.
Love how the owners are also very active with social media and leveraging it well!

First time coming here and I was blown away! We ordered the Buffalo chicken dip and it was the best I've ever had! Then for my meal I ordered the Margherita grilled cheese. It was perfect! I will be back again for sure.
