Don’t waste your time. The hours are incorrect and the place is never open. They close at 5 on Sundays. Maybe if they weren’t so terrible to work for and paid well, they could be open normally.

We love our hometown restaurant! Many options for food and flavors, great bar, friendly service. Melissa is my favorite bartender in town!! Large TVs, music, and an amazing upstairs event space!!Kid-friendliness: Our two year old always enjoys this location!! Comfy seats!

My coworker and I walked in during lunch time and we were standing by the “please wait to be seated” sign for almost 10 minutes while servers passed by ignoring us not saying absolutely anything to us. It seems as if they might be short staffed, yet that doesn’t mean that it’s ok to ignore customers. A simple “we will be right with you” would have been completely fine. They clearly saw us and chose to ignore us. Terrible and unprofessional. Stay away from this place.

I want it to be better here. I really do. The most popular spot in Barre Vermont for sure! But then again, they are often the only place open...Perpetually understaffed, the kitchen is craaaazy slow. Some food comes out tepid, while other plates are so hot we get a warning... probably reheated under the salamander or in microwave last minute. The food is fine, when served promptly: burgers and fries, fish and chips, typical tavern fare. Our waitress, during our last visit, was really nice. <3 Clearly slammed with too many tables, while the other two waitresses kinda wandered, each with maybe one table, or kinda bussing tables. Inefficient distribution of labor. Idk if they have a host/ess or floor manager, but if so, ball dropped. It could be fantastic if they get a couple of cooks who care more, and waitstaff willing to help one another. Regardless, I'll def be back, options being limited...Parking on street and in back. Sooo much parking in Barre. GREAT Art gallery across the street. Check out the giant granite zipper tiny park!Vegetarian options: They have some.Kid-friendliness: They have a decent kids menuParking: On the street and in back.
