I didn't know of this ice cream place until late in the season, loved it so much I went back 3 times in 1 week, including their last day open of the year. Each ice cream dish I tried was delicious, and I got to try 2 in 1 visit since I was with my boyfriend! Nice large lawn with lots of picnic tables to sit at, and small unique playground for kids.

Visited twice this week while staying nearby in Glover area. The "Choco Chunk Blast" sundae we shared was so delicious and huge we came back for another one the second visit! Fabulous ice cream and a we'll put together sundae from friendly staff!
Parking: Free parking
Kid-friendliness: There's a real fire truck (retired) setup here for kids and adults to check out! Lots of yard with picnic tables for eating your ice cream outside.
Wheelchair accessibility: All at ground level here.

Thank you for having Tuesday night lawn concerts during this summer (2024). It adds to our community and supports our local musicians (I hope adequately). I'm glad you're choosing to be a part of the new Barton I envision, and this appears to be profitable for you. I don't like the lack of a handicap accessible bathroom or policies against bringing my own water and outdoor smoking.
Parking: Parking is in the field during events
Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids / families, yet not overwhelmingly so. They like the firetruck with slide, ice cream, and friendliness. There's lots of lawn games for everyone, face painting and fun during events..
Wheelchair accessibility: It seems wheelchair accessible. Uncertain if event parking would be in the field too?

It is pointless to order a large because they are extremely stingy with the icecream and they do not mix it very well. My "large" cup was half full and the bottom of my flurry was just icecream.

Ice cream was delicious! Staff was so sweet and kind! I definitely recommend coming here. It was the best ice cream I’ve ever had. When we came here, it looked like it was closing up. But they took their time to complete our order and we had a pretty long order so thank you to them for taking their time to make the amazing ice cream that we got. I wish that we could make the reviews 10 trillion stars. If you could do that I would definitely do that. I recommend this place so much so if you are in the area of Glover Vermont, make sure to check this place out morning lunch dinner it doesn’t matter. It’s amazing you would regret so much for not getting it!!!!!!!!!

We are always going here as a family, my kids love it. The ice cream is good it's Gifford's. They also have a loyalty card so that's a plus.
