They charge for refills on tea and sodas. It's a strange menu. It's a mix of Mexican food and comfort food. Everything has a strong spicy flavor. Hummus is served with tortilla chips and corn bread not pita chips like normal. The brisket should have been a safe option but it was very spicy. The people were nice and service was good.

Best meal in ages. 7 family members from 21 to 84 years old. All found a great meal choice. 5 different meals. All were excellent. Great atmosphere, able to have a conversation without noise from other sources. 1st class facility.

My wife and I kind of stumbled upon this beautiful place by accident. When we called for reservations, we spoke directly to the chef who answered the phones and actually made a special early slot for us so we could try it out. What a breathtaking location, setting and dwelling. The food was just a bit on the salty side for us, but absolutely delicious. We knew our waitress from a restaurant she used to work at years ago, so that made it fun. I highly recommend stopping in and checking this place out!

Had one of the best meals of the year here last weekend. Definitely need reservations. The food was farm to table. So fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is sophisticated but Vermont comfortable. The drinks were well prepared. My brisket and mac and cheese was fantastic. The coleslaw and corn chowder sides were amazing. The angle hair pasta with tomato's and chicken was deliciously garlicy and herby. Creme Brule had a thick crust and the berries were fresh and delicious. Love this place!

What an elegant, romantic, unexpected treasure! Bring your special date or group celebration here for an exquisite meal in a charmingly decorated old house with high ceilings, enormous windows, a lovely view, and a huge fireplace. But don’t just come for the surroundings: the food was fantastic. Gazpacho, seared salmon, veal, a lobster popover — every dish was tasty. If you are in the NEK, make plans to stop in here.

The new location of The Dinner House is at a beautiful farm. Soft music was playing which gave it a warm feeling. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean. We started with a Lilac Martini and a Rose Martini, homemade and very refreshing. The food was amazing, the hummus dip was so good, and I typically dont like hummus. I had the Maple Bourbon Scallops with potato croquette and creamed corn. I devoured my plate (I typically only eat half). If you are in the area and want to experience a classy restaurant, this would be the place to go!

Absolutely fantastic! The food was wonderful, and my waitress Emily was fun to talk to and she gave me great recommendations on things to see in the area. I wish I could be in town on Sunday for their brunch. I bet it’s fantastic!
Vegetarian options: The wild mushroom dish with the polenta was delicious! I also had the Asian pear salad and savored every bite!

I drove by this modest looking restaurant quite a few times while hiking in the area before realizing, I should make reservations and try it based off good reviews. Probably one of the best meals I have ever had, anywhere. Pork belly maple appetizer with their mac and cheese was amazing, and my scallop dish with sweet potatoes mash and maple glaze was incredible (yes I love maple everything). Crème brûlée dessert was perfect. I honestly wanted to try the whole menu and wish I had gotten the chance to eat here more on my trip in the NEK.

We drove an hour and half to have dinner here.
Our dining experience at the Parsons Dinner House ranks as one of our top 3 dining experiences EVER!
The staff made us feel at home as soon as we entered the door.
Maria, our host was very warm and cordial to us and added to the family feel.
Our entres were over the top delicious. Maria our host is also the pastry chef and she knocked our maple pie desert out of the park.
I highly reccomend Parsons Dinner House. It was worth the drive!
