We dined here recently, and the whole family can't stop talking about it. We went again just two days later.
The wait for a table can take a bit of time, but it's no wonder why. The food here is delicious. Everything is fresh and homemade.
They run daily specials, and in the late evening they have half-price desserts. We ordered the blueberry pie and the crust was incredible.
We will be going here regularly.
The food is so good. I feel like the portions are bigger when you dine in versus take out. Either way, the food is wonderful. And the best maple cotton candy I've ever had the pleasure of eating every visit. lol.
They ran out of what I wanted (pot roast) at 3pm. Long line even mid afternoon.
Prices are extremely reasonable, food fantastic.
Last time we were there food was just ok
Could not get in the last time we visited.
I got a special, it was coconut pancakes 🥞 😋 with Bacon 🥓 and a side of potatoes. The pancakes were amazing, light, Fluffy, and very tasty. I like my bacon crispy, and that's what I got. The potatoes had a little bit too much spice but still tasty and cooked nice and tender. Overall, it was a great meal for the price. Oh, and I had to take home a Piece of Cherry custard pie because I've never heard of it or had it, with home made Whipped cream, and it was WONDERFUL!
First time to visit and we liked it. Everything was great and the service was excellent
This is a regular stop on our way to the campground. Great food and reasonable prices. Always crowded but never a long wait.
Great place The food is delicious
Ordered home fries and biscuits & gravy. Home fries were ok, a bit spicier than I was expecting. Biscuits and gravy were really gross. They were sweet which is really weird because I’m from the south and it’s a savory breakfast item. Did not finish. Ordered French toast as a last ditch effort and it was also just not right. Bread texture was weird, like eggy or something? Ate it because I was hungry am not planning to return.

This is the cutest roadside diner! Friendly staff, home cooked meals and bakery items. Breakfast all day! Only downside is the counter service can be hit or miss. Twice I have come in....not on a busy day, sat at the counter and been ignored by everyone. Disappointed, so make sure to get seated at a table if you want to eat.

The Wayside has been our go-to place to eat for almost 50 years. The food never disappoints, the service is good with courteous and punctual servers, and the atmosphere is comfortable and homey. You can eat in and take out. The prices are affordable. Plus, you can order breakfast all day!
