Great food, great service even a nice conversation with a fellow diner who knew some of my late relatives from that area.

Place was run down and the food was awful, home fries were cold and hard as a rock, had to have been a week old. The bacon was hard as a rock and fell into crumbs when you tried to bite it. The omelet was browned. We had a young waitress who was polite. Prices are WAY too high for what they're serving and then they don't take credit card, you're forced to use an atm with charges. My kids had been in the car for hours and were starving. We were all very disappointed.

This place has wonderful employees, the chefs cook quick and the end result is astounding. The employees make the diner feel welcoming, and makes you feel at home. They have a wide selection to order from. they supply basic needs such toilets, an AC and clocks so you don't let time fly while having a yummy meal! The prices are completely reasonable. they also sell homemade bags and maple syrup. they don't only have basic diner foods but they also provide a verity of baked goods. They except travelers, if you are a traveler just passing by and are looking for something or someone the workers here are all local and they most likely will have answer to question regarding Bridgewater or Woodstock. This place is an overall great place to eat and its easy to just enjoy yourself despite the size!

We stayed at the motel next door and had 2 meals here. Was late about a hr before they closed. Food was good, portions were very large (to large for us ) . We did enjoy it. Will definitely come back if in the area again

We just ate at this diner. At first appearance, I was skeptical. But, after the food came and I took my first bite, I was impressed with the quality of the cheeseburger and fries. The patty was thick and cooked perfect, the cheese was cheddar and creamy, the fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Absolutely perfect!!! The servers were friendly. The entire atmosphere was hometown, family owned. I don't know if it was family owned, but it felt like that. The restroom was clean. We sat where I could see the gentleman cooking the delicious food in the back. Very clean. Thank you for a great lunch experience.

The food was good. The service was also good. The issue I didn't like was that they were "cash only". IMO it should be posted. When I enter rather than at the end of the meal, use our ATM with service fee of course.

My husband and I were out for a day trip on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. We were looking for a mom and pop kind of place which are more our speed. We drove past the Bridgewater Diner at first. I googled it to see if it was opened and began reading reviews. Luckily we weren't too far past because we turned around and boy oh boy are we glad we did! I had a hamburger with homemade potato chips! The burger was absolutely delicious and those chips. Ooohhh those chips!!! Hubby ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes. He said the steak just melted in his mouth! The mashed potatoes were real too! We both had the homemade coleslaw which was absolutely delicious!

My husband and I went to the Bridgewater diner today for lunch. It was great. The lunch we had was a lot of food and the food was excellent. The crew is very nice and I love the comfortable seating. They have a nice variety of food, also. We will go again. Joyce and Stan Olmsted

Service was EXCELLENT, our Waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was great, except that our fried mushrooms came out still frozen...but that was quickly corrected. Only bad (more like odd) thing was being stared down from the young girl at the counter as well as who I assume was the cook? We were the only ones there and when we walked in, being stared down like that made me want to leave. Super strange. The young woman seemed to know the waitress and cook, but wasn't actually working there...just weird. Nice and clean place, great waitress. Not very welcoming.
