My dad lives in France and I have eaten a lot of French Vienoisserie and Brownsville’s croissants are right up there!! I mean all their food is delicious but the croissants are amazing!

A cafe with very good food, a small grocery with a selection of the best pasta, sauces, dry goods, etc., and a first rate butcher shop with house made sausages and top quality meat and poultry, locally sourced. They also do great prepared foods. We had a full Thanksgiving dinner and all good including a traditional pumpkin pie. Also good coffees and bagels with an excellent vegetable cream cheese. Whoever runs it knows food!

We had the absolute pleasure of devouring the most scrumptious food from the creative loving hands of the Brownsville Butcher Pantry. Our families were fortunate enough to inhale crisp wood fired pizza, handmade beet goat cheese tarts with charcuterie and the best chocolate chip tahini cookies for our rehearsal dinner and delicious beef tenderloin, perfectly seasoned, tender braised chicken, freshest salad with creamy potatoes and these insane maple puff desserts people couldn't stop eating on our wedding night. The Service provided matched how incredible both the entire meals were, Peter and crew are thoughtful, kind and took our experience to a whole other level. I keep saying how this was honestly one of the best days of my life, not only because we were with the people we love so dearly in a place we think is heavenly, but because the food was top tier and you can taste the love they pour into everything they do. We are blessed to have enjoyed every last crumb of goodness. Thank you!

Last time we came up, we were lucky enough to stop by and eat, buy groceries, and come back. We are coming up tomorrow, and we hope they'll be open. No fancy words, it just feels like home. Thank you, you make our visits to Vermont worth it.

Toasted Italian sandwich is just... exquisite! House-cured meats make it one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

Szechuan French Fries were totally unique, and the just the fries on their own were fresh, crispy, and addictive.

Americano with house-made vanilla was just the perfect amount of sweet. I don't sweeten my coffee, but I couldn't pass up a homemade vanilla syrup.

Will absolutely be back, and can't wait to try more things! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hands down the best coffee in the area. If you're looking for a great place to have burgers/sandwiches or just want to grab a coffee, don't look no further.
Very friendly staff and tasty food, I'll visit them again if we ever come back this way.
Locals have recommended this place to us and it did not disappoint😊

Do yourself a favor and eat here. It is one of the best casual eateries in Vermont. Service is great, produce is great, presentation is great. Don’t forget to leave room for a flavor of the day creemee.

This place is great! I absolutely loved the whole vibe. It was like visiting with family and friends from near and far. The staff were very friendly and the food was incredibly tasty. Portions are large. I had the chicken sandwich and my husband had the fish sandwich. We shared a huge order of fries that neither of us could finish. I was about finished when I realized that I had not taken a picture of the food...🤦🏾‍♀️
Totally will be back before heading back to Texas...

The Brownsville Butcher & Pantry is a 10/10 gem. Are you looking for an expertly crafted coffee to subdue your caffeine needs? Look no further than a Bee Sting Latte or Shaken Espresso!

Or perhaps you need breakfast, or even second breakfast? The breakfast burrito or breakfast sandwich on a fresh Portuguese muffin starts my day off right.

Hungry for lunch or dinner? (We all know how you get when you're hungry...) Rotating carefully crafted specials use fresh produce and local meats to soothe the soul.

Whether it's wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, or chocolate milk - there's something to wet your whistle. Or handmade soft serve flavors can cool your whistle. Or a variety of local beef, pork, and/or chicken is available to melt in your whistle. No matter your need, that's a happy whistle!

Read this far? Congrats! Tldr; go to the Brownsville Butcher & Pantry (locally known as the BB&P)! You won't regret it!
