Wonderful, quality food. Helpful staff.
We stopped here for breakfast. Breakfast sandwiches were amazing.
Hash and Eggs was unexpected and delicious.
Service was great.
What a great place! Highly recommend!
The butcher was fabulous in helping us select the perfect steak, he also gave us great tips on grilling... we had the best steak dinner and enjoyed very much.. ladies from thetford 😀
Best pancakes I’ve tasted in years!
World class pastries. Really. Get there early.
Worth the drive, this hidden gem has excellent food options and groceries.
European feel. For a small town shop, it certainly has an abundance of culinary options. Great international wines. Creative and delicious deli offerings. The Butcher should be named 'Peter the great' for being able to prepare custom requested cuts of meat.
Put this on your visit list, a must!
Cool market and excellent food. Customer service is very good too.
Love the Brownsville Butcher & Pantry! Everything you need and nothing you don't.

My dad lives in France and I have eaten a lot of French Vienoisserie and Brownsville’s croissants are right up there!! I mean all their food is delicious but the croissants are amazing!
A cafe with very good food, a small grocery with a selection of the best pasta, sauces, dry goods, etc., and a first rate butcher shop with house made sausages and top quality meat and poultry, locally sourced. They also do great prepared foods. We had a full Thanksgiving dinner and all good including a traditional pumpkin pie. Also good coffees and bagels with an excellent vegetable cream cheese. Whoever runs it knows food!
We had the absolute pleasure of devouring the most scrumptious food from the creative loving hands of the Brownsville Butcher Pantry. Our families were fortunate enough to inhale crisp wood fired pizza, handmade beet goat cheese tarts with charcuterie and the best chocolate chip tahini cookies for our rehearsal dinner and delicious beef tenderloin, perfectly seasoned, tender braised chicken, freshest salad with creamy potatoes and these insane maple puff desserts people couldn't stop eating on our wedding night. The Service provided matched how incredible both the entire meals were, Peter and crew are thoughtful, kind and took our experience to a whole other level. I keep saying how this was honestly one of the best days of my life, not only because we were with the people we love so dearly in a place we think is heavenly, but because the food was top tier and you can taste the love they pour into everything they do. We are blessed to have enjoyed every last crumb of goodness. Thank you!
Last time we came up, we were lucky enough to stop by and eat, buy groceries, and come back. We are coming up tomorrow, and we hope they'll be open. No fancy words, it just feels like home. Thank you, you make our visits to Vermont worth it.
Toasted Italian sandwich is just... exquisite! House-cured meats make it one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.
Szechuan French Fries were totally unique, and the just the fries on their own were fresh, crispy, and addictive.
Americano with house-made vanilla was just the perfect amount of sweet. I don't sweeten my coffee, but I couldn't pass up a homemade vanilla syrup.
Will absolutely be back, and can't wait to try more things! Staff was friendly and helpful.
