We visited this place for the fall foliage, and it was an absolute delight. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The prices were also very reasonable. Their chipotle-style beef tacos were absolutely delicious, and their maple syrup was simply incredible. Even the ice cream and shake were very delicious. However, their maple candy and truffles were a bit too sweet for my taste, but everything else was fantastic. I highly recommend this place, and I definitely plan to return if I ever go back to Vermont.

If you’re anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and stop for a maple creamie! It’s hands-down the best one I’ve ever had . The texture is perfectly creamy without being too sweet. This is one of those hidden gems you visit once and can’t stop thinking about afterward. We are literally planning to drive 4 hours to get this creamee again because it lives rent free in our heads.

April’s Maple is always a stop when I visit family in Canaan or Averill. The creamies - unmatched. All of the food is delicious there. I had breakfast for the first time last visit and it was outstanding(usually get a sandwich like the photo). I always get syrup to go, and shop for merch or the goodies they sell in addition to all things syrup(most recently variations of flavored cheesecake mix). This place is a MUST. GO.

This place is better than your typical Canadian sugar shack. The soft serve ice cream, pulled pork, French toast, and combination platter were amazing. We stayed at Jackson's Lodge nearby and had the best breakfast the next morning. This is the only place to go in the area. It was so amazing that we went back two days in a row.
