I love Stones Throw, however they now require a 15% gratuity automatically into their online orders. This is egregious and deters me from going there vs Folinos down the street.

This is a really cute shop. The beer and wine selection is top notch. The pizza is also pretty good. The cannoli was divine. Def recommend this local spot!

Great pizza! We ordered a small pizza with pulled pork, scorched peppers, and ancho chili sauce?? The place is small but cute with good selections of wine & snacks.

Amazing pizza, and you won’t find any better vegan pizza anywhere else in the area. I’m glad the flying pig moved so that these guys could come save us from the other lackluster local pizza options…
No flavor. Cheese slid off when I picked up a slice. They were nice to refund me. The place is adorable

My people raved about this place and it's other locations, and when my collective friend group found out I was reviewing every pizza place in Chittenden county, they told me this was to be one of my crown jewels. So, I had unfairly high expectations going in. I've tried to edit those out here, to be fair.I was on the way home after trip to a relatives, and happened to be passing through right at dinner. I called ahead, and the staff was attentive and friendly.Them: "When would you like this pizza for, sir?"Me: "I'm in Vergennes, not sure exactly how long."Them: "We'll have it ready for you."...and they did. It was perfect timing, coming out of the oven hot and steaming right as I walked in. This place is clean, neat, friendly service, with one of those little stores inside that sells fancy crackers, jams, and 25 kinds of hard cider. The staff are great. And look at that pizza. It's beautiful. Really, I was amazed at how good my experience was.Imagine, then, my disappointment when, reaching over into the box while driving, and taking my first bite, I tasted...very little. Almost nothing, actually. It was terribly bland. The crust was essentially a flatbread cracker. The sauce was thin. The chicken was unseasoned. It was just so...disappointing.Everything about this experience was great, except the taste of the pizza. I give it three stars because of the overall experience, and the fact that I could tell the toppings were high quality ingredients. But I have to say, I am tempted to give it 2 stars because, really, isn't this about how good the pizza tastes?
Great pies in an unexpected location. Bravo!
