Don't expect anything above and beyond here... Basic breakfast and lunch options and so-so coffee, but the convenience of having a little cafe that is somewhat cozy where you can wait for your flight and have a cup of coffee is very nice. A really nice view of the airport and surrounding mountains is also a plus.
Attractive architecture with laminated structural beams and lots of windows looking out on the airfield. The staff were friendly, and food was good. We recommend the seasoned home-fried potatoes with breakfast (you can choose seasoned or plain). We enjoyed perfectly done over-medium eggs with perfectly cooked bacon. Our teenage grandson loved the large pancake. Coffee is standard fare café style (not special but strong enough). My only criticism is a sad, faded plastic plant...
The airport was great! My bag didn't make the flight and the staff at Rutland airport we're fabulous to work with. They did their jobs with a smile and an efficiency that made losing my bag a small hiccup.
