I have been coming to this Starbucks since I was in high school and since then there is this guy that works there, I’m not sure his name but he has a mustache and always wears a hat. That man makes my day the second I see him. He always greets me, makes my drink perfectly every time and knows I want a straw with my drink before I even get there to pick it up. If you are reading this, thank you for making my mornings and you are truly the best!

Yesterday morning (Tuesday, October 28th), when my mother and I entered Starbucks, an employee greeted us with a smile. When we got to the counter to order, another customer arrived after us (he was white). The elderly woman with white hair, and around 5 feet 2, who was at the cash register, didn't even acknowledge us, but was quick to warmly greet the customer who came in after us and serve him. When the customer left, the woman turned away, completely ignoring us, and went back to her task without even saying hello. My mother and I quickly realized that the old woman was being racist since we are black women and she only served the white man. There was no one else in line except my mother, me, and the white man behind us. As someone who has been working for the company for a long time and still works for the company as of today, this racist incident makes me want to leave the company immediately because I can't believe that Starbucks hires racist employees like that elderly woman. It's completely against their company values. The woman with white hair should be fired immediately after yesterday morning's incident because she doesn't treat coloured customers with politeness and respect, she doesn't respect Starbucks' values, and she's completely racist. I will never go back to Starbucks again and leave the company for good if they don’t pursue immediate actions and tolerate racist behaviour like the old woman of yesterday.

Had a lovely experience here today. My daughter was eating a croissant and inhaled some flakes and started coughing. By the time I went to go get her water, and incredibly kind employee with red hair (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name!!) was already walking over to us with a cup of water! Thank you so much.
