Don’t bother unless you want to pay more than the meal is worth. Had Seafood Norfolk and Prime Rib. Also has clam chowder and cheddar ale soup. Restaurant now charges a fee for using credit cards. With a $15 tip, our bill was $101. Not even offered the salads that come with the meal. Food was just ok. Not worth over $100 for dinner for two. Will not be going back anytime soon.

It is literally fine dining by the interstate highway. The menu was most excellent. But my party went there on the day of the total eclipse, so the place was full of families with infants ready to go home. I would advise anyone to try it under other conditions.

They only had 2 people available to serve and they did a great job. Smiles on their faces, attentive, especially with our water refill and the prices were great, food pretty darn good too. I had Irish Benny the corn beef was great and not salty.Vegetarian options: I would assume there are vegetarian options, I'm not vegan.Dietary restrictions: Someone in our partying in Gluten free and was very satisfied with the options. Plenty of parking off street.

Service was a little slow, although they didn’t seem busy. This is the first time I have seen meatloaf on a menu without a starch and veg. Comes with a side salad?

The Lighthouse Restaurant and Lounge is a hidden gem in the Burlington area. It’s stately appearance gives off a lofty vibe but once you get in the door, the host and hostess are there to make things happen for you. I like a restaurant that has a dedicated bar, by that I mean the bar is sectioned off you know the kind where people belly up and let the liquor do a little bit of the talking. It’s so much better than those restaurants that build the dining area around the bar, Olive Garden seems to do that.Anyway my wife and I visited recently, more than once and I made way for the bar and she gave a pull on my arm to remind me that we were dining there. She had fish and chips and Boy Howdy were those New England fish served up right. Kinda crispy and then the meaty tenderness of a light tasting fish.I had the Duck Wing! Great selection! The Duck Wing came lightly covered on an Orange sauce - there were lots of interesting taste in that plate. Some “slide dancing” on the palate of my tongue if you will, complimented by a great mouthful and then maybe a peripheral aftertaste that sent a message to my fork hand to shovel another load into my mouth.I was glad to order what I did. My wife was glad to order what she did. So enthralled was I with the party going on in my mouth that I forgot the Lighthouse had a bar.Vermont friendliness was also a staple of our visits- I’m a devout Rock and Roller and the host picked up on that - he regaled me with a few concerts he’d been to and really made us feel welcome. The Lighthouse is a beacon on Vermont dining. Don’t miss the chance to drop by.

The weather was lousy, poor visibility, so we took a chance because it was the closest to our hotel, against our better judgement, from the reviews. The calamari app was “fast food caliber”.My plate was warm but the food was barely warm. My husbands steak was full of gristle, couldn’t chew, and the potatoes lousy. There was no salad bar. When we kindly told the waitress our concerns, she said if we told her sooner, she could have “fixed” it. They made no adjustment. The reviews are accurate, they have serious issues and do not try to make things right. It’s a holiday weekend and the restaurant was not busy. Very disappointed and will not return or recommend.

12/1/23 our company made reservations for 12 people. When I called I specifically asked if their menu had been updated. As the last time I went there for dinner there were only 4 different selections of entrees to choose from. That was one of the worst meals I had, had. Fast forward to 12/1 the man that answered the phone said to me yes they had a better selection to choose from. He totally lied to me. We get there we had to wait for our tables to be set, we get the menu we ordered some appetizers to start they meh. Then ordered our dinners much to everyone’s dismay of what you could order if they were not out of it again the meal was meh. We then asked for a desert menu which we were told they had cheesecake, pumpkin pie and brownie Sundays. The waiter we felt bad for as he had to come and tell us they were out of brownie Sundays and they had no toppings to put on the cheesecake. We knew this was not the waiter’s fault. The lighthouse restaurant will never get our business again.

I have never written a review about a terrible meal. But tonight...I just have to save the next group of diners. We arrived at 6 and did not get our food until 7:35. It arrived cold and soggy and visually unappealing. My crab cakes were a pile of mess. No form. It did not resemble any crab cake I have ever seen. Sending it back would have meant waiting another 1.5 hours and that was just not doable. After reading the many negative reviews, I cannot help but wonder why it remains terrible. Do they not read their reviews??? Wish I would have read them BEFORE walking though their doors. It would be to their benefit to just try to do better, especially with the hotel next door.Save your money. Search for another place to eat. This will leave you feeling like you just flushed $200 down the loo.

Appetizer cheese fritters were good and warm. Waited about an hour for our entrees, and it was cool to luke warm. Scallops weren't cooked. Steak mushroom risotto didn't have any steak in it.
