Stopped in just after opening, doors were locked
One of the employees saw us and walked away while playing on her phone
Tonight my friend ordered a cheese pizza for her grandson. When it became apparent we weren’t going to get dinner for a while due to staffing issues, my friend asked if she could get it to go so he could leave early. They said yes but never made it. When the staff asked if she still wanted it, she said no. Then the bill came and it was on her bill. Goodfella's is a restaurant that provides satisfying service and amazing, delicious food worth any wait. The establishment has a huge dining area and a well-stocked bar room with tables, capable of fitting a number of people, and the parking lot is convenient. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept.
The food is a highlight. Dishes come out hot and at the same time, indicating a strong kitchen performance. Specific meals praised include the blackened haddock, which can be made spicy, the Vermont Chicken with a tinge of maple syrup, fried apples, and cheese, and the huge chicken Parmesan. The steak & cheese sandwich is also a thrill. For starters, the hand-cut, dipped, and fried pickles served with dill ranch sauce are delicious. Sides like sautéed potatoes and fried brussel sprouts are excellent alternatives. Specials, like a shredded chicken burrito with fresh peppers, black beans, fresh guacamole, and lime, are delicious. Desserts, such as the bacon chocolate sundae, are also recommended. The lemonade is fresh and perfect, and the draft selections are great, alongside adult beverages like a bourbon smash and special coffee.
The staff is consistently diligent, knowledgeable, super polite, energetic, helpful, very attentive, prompt, positive, professional, and friendly. Servers are quick and give good suggestions. They handle busy times, like an initial dinner rush, very well. This makes Goodfella's a perfect place for a quick bite, lunch, or a nice easy dinner, and a perfect place to take some rest and refreshment. Many customers plan to return as often as they can, noting it is a terrific meal and an especially good experience.
