Oh my word, by far the best Asian food I've had in a very, very long time. Pork belly and baby boy choy, general chicken, steamed dumplings. All fresh and hand made!!

Went there a couple of weeks ago and ordered General Tso, beef chow fun and egg rolls. All three were noticeably superior to any of the other local restaurants.. Beef chow fun really stood out. Amazing flavor, and a dish you don't find around here. Would love to see them add Banh Mi sandwiches and Vietnamese caramel chicken. Definitely a cut above everything around here and highly recommended.

It's a gem of a family business. Dumplings are to die for!

I've had Chinese food all over the country, and by far Huang's is the best. the egg rolls are to die for and the orange chicken has no equal.

We went there for the first time and dined in. It’s a chill, casual place that feels similar to restaurants we have visited in larger cities as well as Viet Nam. Food was excellent and the portion sizes are large. I got the tonkatsu ramen with pork belly while the others in my party got chicken and noodle dishes, all of which were excellent! Their scallion pancakes are the best I’ve had too. We are certainly looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu!

Our daughter loved the Boba tea! She said the Lo mein was her favorite. The staff is friendly and hard working. The food was clean, fresh and well worth the price. We will be back. Sometimes they close on holidays since they are a family run business which I think is great, but take note.

We went to Huang’s Noodle Shop for our daughter’s birthday and it was hands down the best food that we’ve had since we’ve moved here!

Our family moved to VT just over a year ago and were a bunch of foodies. We’ve tried restaurants from Burlington to St J with a good handful of them not worth returning to and most just being “ok”.

The owners are very friendly, the atmosphere is casual/laid back and the portions are sized to share. We hadn’t even left the restaurant and our kids were already asking if we could come back, which we certainly will!

Closed. Drove from Montpelier with a Google..."confirmed by owner 4 days ago". Small sign on door that they are closed the whole week of the 4th.

I was craving soup because it was cold
and rainy, and I got the tonkotsu ramen. The order took a while to come out ,but it was tasty and the portions were generous . Got scallion pancakes that were great.

My recent visit to Huang's Noodle Shop left me with mixed feelings, despite high expectations set by a friend's recommendation. Arriving at dinner time, the restaurant was bustling with activity—almost every table occupied, lines for takeout, and a noticeable buzz of anticipation in the air.

Upon ordering the Fresh Spring Rolls and Kimchi Ramen, I was taken aback by the total of $32.37 for what seemed like a modest order. The cashier explained they had been exceptionally busy and were running low on ingredients, which initially seemed understandable.

However, when the food arrived, my enthusiasm waned. The Fresh Spring Rolls, described to include rice noodles, basil, cilantro, carrots, bean sprouts, and lettuce wrapped in rice paper with peanut sauce, were missing both carrots and bean sprouts. To compound matters, they had run out of peanut butter for the sauce, substituting it with another sauce that, albeit tasty, wasn't what I had anticipated. In fact, its flavor became the highlight of the meal, even making its way into my Kimchi Ramen, which unfortunately lacked depth in taste.

While the portion size of the ramen was generous, its flavor did not match the quantity. I ended up taking it home and enhancing it with my own seasonings to make it more palatable. Disappointingly, my friend—who had recommended the place—also noted a decline since her last visit, adding to the overall letdown of the evening solely from a culinary standpoint.

I wouldn't not give it another try, however, reflecting on food, atmosphere, and value, I find myself preferring Kham's Thai Cuisine in St. Johnsbury for its consistent quality across these dimensions. While Huang's Noodle Shop may have had an off night due to busyness, my experience didn't live up to the hype or the price tag.

The food was great! I recently moved into the area and wanted some authentic food. This place did not disappoint. I got the kimchi ramen, crispy egg rolls and chicken lo-mein. The staff was helpful and attentive.
