Always the very best! The food and atmosphere is spectacular but the real charm is the people in front and in back of the house. One always arrives feeling welcomed!

We had a delightful evening. Cocktails were very, very good. And food was quite good too. Will certainly return. We especially like sitting in the garden for dinner.

A wonderful dining experience! We enjoyed fine food and great wine in a pleasant VT patio setting with outstanding music by Sammy Blanchette.

We have dined at this restaurant several times in the past. It is always a wonderful experience from start to finish. The cuisine is superb, the service is professional, and the decor is delightful. Well worth a visit.

We were visiting my home area where I grew up. We wanted to take our daughter to a nice restaurant in that area so I remembered this restaurant. I knew that decades ago it was a quality restaurant and we weren't disappointed. If you want a place special to eat for any event this is where to go, it can be either formal or casual anything fits in. We loved it. Excellent food and excellent drinks.

We sat outside on a very pleasant evening, the food was excellent, as was the service. We will certainly be going back!

Once again the most delightful evening! The service by Tom and the dinner served was outstanding. The cocktails including the Maple Old Fashion, skinny margarita, Cosmo and special lemonade were delicious. The sashimi nachos and caesar salad were excellent starters. The homemade bolognese awesome, the swordfish perfectly prepared. And desert and coffee ended a perfect experience.

Tom did an amazing job keeping pace with us even as people arrived at our table sporadically over the space of an hour. Given it was a beautiful night to eat out side, the patio was packed and very busy, but Tom kept up with everything perfectly and ensured that all 6 of us were well taken care of all evening. It was especially nice to have Sherman and the Bonfire playing as that added so much to the ambience. It would be great to have them back again as soon as possible.

This is now a very good restaurant, with a variety of very good dishes. Good, coordinated service.

Drinks and service excellent. My wife's scallops were deelishus. Unfortunately the very thick swordfish was undercooked and grisly. Unusual for Barrows House.

Everything was delicious except we ordered a side of fries that were extremely salty. We mentioned it to our server and they took it off the bill. We had tuna tacos, crab cakes, soft shell crabs and scallops. All were delicious and prepared well. Our server was helpful. It was very busy so service was a little slow at first but we weren't in a hurry. We've been here before and we will be back.

Our room was absolutely adorable. Staff was wonderful as were the bartenders. Food was excellent in the restaurant. Coming before Christmas is the best everything is decorated. It’s like a Hallmark movie. They also had Santa and Mrs. Claus there for pictures, even as adults we definitely did the pictures and loved it. Great job to all staff members.

We took our kids for Santa weekend and it was the most magical weekend!! This place is run by the most friendly staff. Rooms are very clean. Restaurant is incredible.

Only suggestion is to have more of a literary with times for the Santa event with suggestions for guests. Maybe do a fun town scavenger hunt.

We were excited to have the opportunity to purchase a Thanksgiving meal "to go". We spent $188 (total) for convienence. $28 of that was an additional charge because we added an order of Cabot Mac and Cheese. The portion was extremely small but it was very tasty. I was hoping to have leftovers but there was no way. The cranberry sauce was horrible but the rest of the meal was good. The best part was the pumpkin pie that we purchased as an addition to the meal.
