Tavern 1846 served up very decent food!
Hubby and I came in for some light bites during snowboarding trip at Mount Snow.
Inside is charming and inviting, service was good.
We got a Large Soft Pretzel to share, the New England Clam Chowder was good. Also got a Caesar salad, and the Crispy Fried Brussels Sprouts were super delicious.
This is a place that we will come back again next time in town.

Not my type of Apres Ski. Crowded during dinner time

Good service, even while busy. Good burger. Maple rye old fashion very good.

Walked in on a Monday night during ski season. There was a nice crowd but we were seated right away. The food was excellent! My wife and I both had the pork chop, pork was juicy and the portion size
was generous

Staying at the 1846 Inn made our first time visit to VT remarkable! The food, drinks and bedrooms were all excellent, especially the food!!! The people working are all so friendly and we will definitely be back! Phil is an amazing host - 10/10 recommend!

Came here for dinner with friends after hitting the slopes and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing. We got many different apps and the we all got the burger. I have to point out the Brussel sprouts were superb! I can’t wait to visit this place again on another snowboard trip to Mt. Snow.

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. We were in Dover, Vermont for a short 2 night trip last week and stopped here for dinner our first night. It was so good that we returned on the second night. I got the steak tips both nights which were cooked to a perfect medium rare and complimented by mashed potatoes, vegetables and a delicious red wine sauce. My fiance got the salmon the first night, and lobster ravioli the second night. Both dishes were 5 stars. He loved the salmon, it was a generous sized piece, cooked and seasoned just right. We loved the bread board appetizer with a selection of different flavored butters and olive oil. And the drinks were great, they definitely added a good amount of alcohol. The live music and atmosphere here are awesome. Kind of dimly lit, with cute string lights. The waitresses were nice and attentive. We got our food suprisingly quick. This will definitely be our first choice for dinner when we return to Vermont. Thanks!
