I love D bags . The food is great , the people who work there are awesome and there is great live music. I especially like to go on Wednesdays for Karaoke and because Dee is working and she is amazing.
Told me my ID was fake, and wanted me to call the cops to get it back
Unfortunately, my experience at Dover Bar and Grill was extremely disappointing due to the incredibly rude and unprofessional behavior of the bartender on duty (her name was Dee—dark brown hair pulled back in a bun).
From the start, she created an unwelcoming atmosphere by harshly telling one of my friends they couldn’t bring in their water bottle—something I’ve never had an issue with at other bars. When I asked about the cider options, she responded with a negative, dismissive attitude that made me feel uncomfortable just for asking a simple question.
The tipping point came when we closed out our tab. I chose not to leave a tip because of the poor service and her treatment of our group. Instead of handling it professionally, she caused a scene by loudly and passive-aggressively walking back and forth, repeating, “I don’t serve drinks to people who don’t tip me!!” When we asked if she was referring to us, she snapped, “Yes, YOU!! We work off tips!!” This completely soured our night and made it impossible to enjoy the rest of our time there.
We were ready to continue ordering drinks and supporting the business, but her behavior made us feel disrespected and unwelcome.
To make matters worse, one of my friends ordered a burger that was bland, overcooked, and pretty much tasteless. The fries were okay, but definitely not enough to make up for the rest of the experience.
Also worth noting: there’s a $15 minimum for debit and credit cards, which isn’t posted very clearly.
We’re locals and had hoped to find a new go-to spot—but after this experience, we won’t be returning. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this one was well-earned. Hopefully management takes notice and makes some changes. A bartender’s attitude can truly make or break a customer’s experience, and unfortunately, Dee’s behavior ruined ours.
Owners will kick you out and no service you for no apparent reason.

Met friends for drinks and stayed for a light meal. Excellent tacos of shredded chicken in dipping sauce! Be sure to order corn tortillas! They add a little crunch!

Five-star bar! So comfortable and immediately at home, what a happy place! Pro team behind the bar and in the kitchen who remembered every customers' drink preferences. Funny, fun and welcoming to this out of towner/tourist but it's clear why other locals, bar and restaurant staff come here after their shifts. Added another night to our visit just for the chance to come back. Cheers DBaG see you again soon!!

This was my first and last time coming here. My first 5mins there, the bartender (Lucy?) was rude and demanding; not friendly at all. She asked me three times if I wanted to open a tab, and I said, “no I want to close it.” Then my friend accidentally spilt her water on the bar, and she told the customer next to me “and that’s what you get for not tipping.” I visibly had a $20 bill in my hand and was waiting to ask her for change. As a waitress and bartender myself, I know to tip at least 20% and extra for good service. We also offered to clean it up. Aside from the poor service, my food did come out in a timely manner and everything was reasonably priced as well.
