Fun place to play pool while enjoying delicious BBQ and beer. We recommend the smoked wings.
Had a reservation. Still had to wait figure one they’re busy. Finally got seated and waited a long time before be waited on. When food finally came out the brisket was dry and cold. Mac and cheese had good flavor but was also cold. My son had chicken tenders and fries that were good until the waitress took his plate assuming he was done. His food was the only out of 5 of us that was good or even warm. Hoping that it was just an off night. Place seems like it has potential. May wait a bit and give them another shot
Staff was overwhelmed. Very busy.. wait time was ok since had reservations. burgers were good for me though my friends was well done instead of medium. Beer selection solid. Kool pool tables.. though could not get in on game.
Dover Forge is worth the trip! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. My husband was so impressed with the BBQ he ordered food to go after we finished our dinner.
Best meal we’ve had on our trip. We’re here to ski at mt snow and did the rounds at the usual restaurants in town. The vibe here at Dover forge was fab - with the pool tables et al. The highlight was the food, especially the shrimp etouffe. Perfect balance of spice and flavor.
Initially I was very disappointed as they hadn't marked my reservation I made a week prior but they arranged for us to sit which was great. Food was delicious, BBQ sauce is provided at the tables to have a variety of their house sauces. Definitely understaffed currently but that seems to be an issue everywhere. All in all decent dinner experience.
My daughter and I came here on a busy Friday night. We were lucky to be seated right away. There were a number of pool tables with people playing(all masked and polite). The staff is very pleasant and the atmosphere is nice.(see pics online) The espresso martini was a little weak but my drink ( i don't recall the name) was similar to a white russian and just delicious. The burger and fries were good, but I ordered medium and it was too rare so be careful with that. The crab cake appetizer with a little side salad garnish was excellent. The caesar salad with chicken was also excellent.
Stopped in by myself and ate at the bar. The bartender was friendly and the service overall was good. I did NOT get the barbecue, which is one of their specialties, because I just wasn't hungry enough for all that food. Ordered the French onion soup and a caesar salad with a confit duck leg. The soup was just excellent--a really rich beef broth loaded with cheese and onions and crostini. But when my caesar came, it was unremarkable dressing on not-the-crispest romaine. Worse, the croutons were soggy and bland without even a little crunch. They seem to do a pretty good job here overall, but clearly no one cares about the Caesar salad. I was sorry I ordered it instead of barbecue, but then again it IS on the menu . . .
Great people, good food. Lost a star because takeout ribs came without sauce… Look forward to returning on my next trip to Mount Snow!
Great atmosphere, the ribs were very tough and not tender at all, very disappointing. Good sides though.

Dinner was good, but you are paying to be close to the ski areas.
Awesome brisket, stuffed lobster tail and crab cakes. They really take pride in the food and it shows. Service was excellent, wine list was great. Very happy with everything.
Service was absolutely delightful. Good food and warm/cold beverages. True pool tables too!
BEST MACARONI AND CHEESE ON THE PLANET ? ?
Great place for a hangout after you long day at work. Pool beer and friends.
