Good place to eat if your in the area. The Burgers are wonderful as are the sweet potato fries! Came by on a Sunday evening and not crowded. Pros; Great food - Fun atmosphere - several tv's to watch sports, if you want. Cons; Felt like we were rushed. The waitress staff were attentive but in our opinion, way to attentive. Kept trying to take our plates. She tried to recommend a to go box for our friend who was not finished with his wings. Heck they even took away the condiment tray before I even finished my desert. The big thing was, the place was half full and there was NO reason to make us feel rushed. We were brought here by a friend that comes here a lot and He even felt pressured. Not my kinda place, if this is the way it's going to be. I'm hoping it was a fluke and not the new normal. Would I come back, maybe..... if in the area.

Nice saloon in West Dover Vermont. Feels like the old west. Waitress was excellent. Smiling. Very helpful. Brought our drinks out first. I had the chicken sub. It was delicious. We also had nachos. The beer was very good too we were there for an hour. They have three Television on the walls. The outside is very inviting. Will be back in when the weather gets better. Great job to all the staff. Thank you.

Denise was wonderful..very attentive, drinks were very good. For a place that has been around for 10 plus years, it felt new and modern. 4 large screen tvs with college games and baseball. Good music playing in the background as well. I had the grilled chicken, California style, and it was delicious. My girlfriend had the tomato soup with grilled cheese, and it was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend it.

I just wanted to take the time to share how much I love the ruben here. I was never a big fan of ruben's until I tried the one here at the Saloon and I absolutely fell in love with it. Now, I get the ruben every single time I come here and havent gotten anything else except the ruben in years because of how good it is. I've tried to go to multiple other places to get rubens but i end up not liking it as much because of how delicious this one is. This ruben makes other rubens taste dry and just cannot even compare to the Saloons ruben. Im not even kidding when I say this is the best ruben in the world, from the perfectly toasted rye bread to the warm, juicy corned beef inside. I think everybody should come here because the food and atmosphere here are just fantastic.

Stopped here with our two boys (10 and 16) and it did not disappoint! The service was on point and our food came out in a timely manner. We had the wings and vegetable dumplings to start-my husband is a wing man and he LOVED these. The dumplings could have had a little more crunch to them but where that lacked made up in flavor. The burgers were not frozen and made to perfection (cooked medium). I asked our sons where the last place was where they made true burgers and they said, “the backyard”. I’d say the valley view saloon nailed it, no frozen patties there. The bread is fresh and the cheesesteak was ooey goey ?. So many places skim on the sauciness of a cheesesteak sub-not here! Highly impressed with the food, staff and the atmosphere! Also-price was on point! Great job valley view saloon-we will be back again :)
My son and were disappointed that the queso was cold and the bacon had glass in it. The staff didn't do anything and told us we were crazy. We had to pay full price for a meal that was miserable. I don't recommend this restaurant.
