Delicious pizza, salad, and excellent service. Parking was easy in the lot to the left of the building. There is outside and inside seating downstairs at Hazels. Definitely take a walk across the yard to listen to the stream. Hope to be back soon!

Best pizza I’ve had in years! Everyone was so nice, even though it was really busy, and the wait really wasn’t bad at all for a Friday night.

If I could give 100 stars I would! John David Tomassoni has created the best eatery in all of Vermont. Have loved his sourdough pizzas for years and you can’t go wrong with the smash berger or fried chicken sandwich. Recently had his “Panwich” - unbelievable sourdough enveloping prosciutto, homemade pesto, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and tomato garlic confit with balsamic. Heavenly.

Pizza is SO good! Sour dough crusted made with their own lovingly-tended starter. I had the Margarita and asked for the crust to be well-done. Yummy! Guacamole and chips are very good! Take it downstairs to Hazels and enjoy their seating and wine collection. Recommend!

We visit Burke-Kingdom Trails annually and make sure to have Pizza each visit at Tomassoni's. Order your pizza and have a drink at Hazel's Tap Room downstairs!
Absolutely fantastic little spot. Has to be one of the best kept secrets in Vermont, because if more people knew… this place would have to take over the town in order to have space for the people lining up to get in. The atmosphere is rad. They are so fun and welcoming at all times. No matter how busy they are. And they get BUSY… for good reason. With the tap room downstairs, it’s the perfect setup. Order yourself some awesome food then go downstairs and hang out while you wait. Very cool during the summer, with the outdoor seating.
Now the food… So many places claim to have “gourmet” pizza. Rarely does it deserve that title. The pizza that the owner, John and his crew, are pushing out of here is truly what you would call properly gourmet. Excellent ingredients. Excellent presentation. And the burgers… out of this world. Not dry. Not bland. So well balanced and worth every penny. I can not forget to mention the fresh cut fries! Was skeptical when a local told me they were the best… because I’ve had some really really good fresh cut fries… but these lived up to the hype. Lastly, if you’re a sauce enthusiast… it seems that John whips up most, if not all of the sauces here by hand. No boring store bought sauces here. Only the real deal.
You can tell that real passion goes into everything they make here. These guys and gals really have it figured out and I’ll be excited to see how they’ve grown, each time I’m back in Vermont.

As someone who moved from New Haven, CT to the area, we’ve been looking for a good pizza that hit close to our expectations of home. We couldn’t find one until today. The pizza is absolutely delicious. The sauce is perfect, the crust is perfect, cheese to topping ratio. Perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants excellent food from a chef who clearly takes pride in his work!

I live in East Burke and eat here all of the time. The menu is simple and with counter service upstairs you can have a beer downstairs at Hazels taproom while you wait for your buzzer to alert you that it’s ready. The turnaround is quick so, unless you’re super thirsty, you’ll still have sips left when your food comes. The choices are all delectable and Jon’s sourdough is top notch.

Best pizza in Vermont, great service and friendly staff
the place had a great selection of beers and wines. the margarita pizza was outstanding, it’s my favorite so far :) will definitely be back
Delicious pizza very time! Does not disappoint ;)
Fantastic fried chicken sandwich, and the truffle fries were delicious. Prices are a little steep ($32 pre-tip), but the quality is certainly there.
