I live in East Burke and eat here all of the time. The menu is simple and with counter service upstairs you can have a beer downstairs at Hazels taproom while you wait for your buzzer to alert you that it’s ready. The turnaround is quick so, unless you’re super thirsty, you’ll still have sips left when your food comes. The choices are all delectable and Jon’s sourdough is top notch.

Fantastic fried chicken sandwich, and the truffle fries were delicious. Prices are a little steep ($32 pre-tip), but the quality is certainly there.

Great food!! The chef is so proud of his work—as he should be! He used to have a pizza food truck and now has this. My party of 9 left with big smiles on their face. The Vermonter and , margarita pizzas plus the hand cut fries were highlights! Carried it downstairs to pair with a beer from Hazel’s Taproom—perfect! Highly recommend. We all agreed that the dough for the pizza is excellent! Even my friends who just got a salad loved it! Really Great!

I highly recommend , excellent food , staff is very friendly ! The pub downstairs to eat is very nice also ! Forget the pub at Burke Hotel , this is your go to restaurant in the area !!!

I would give them a 5 star for the food if the pizza was cooked a bit longer but I did feel it was a tad under cooked making it rather messy since I got the one with maple syrup…. A little pricier than I anticipated but once I saw the size and of toppings on the large I could see why as it is huge and I’ll def be opting for a small next time. That being said the flavors were amazing and it’s a great wood fired crust and I still devoured a good amount even it being a little less crispy than my personal liking.:. Also the staff was sweet and helpful and were nice in explaining the restaurant in that Hazels the taproom is separate but that both could overlap . They gave me a buzzer so I could enjoy a beer while I waited. I’ll def be going back and trying something else :)

We really enjoyed our experience, the setting and decor is truly original and beautiful, the staff is really friendly... Probably the best Pizza we ever had too!! You can grab a beer at the pub downstairs while you wait for your order, great concept! We ended up going twice in one weekend that's how much we loved it. We're definitely planning on coming back next time we are in East Burke.
Smash burgers are absolutely delicious and so was the special burrito. Frozen John Daly's from the bar downstairs are the icing on the cake. Pairs very well with a trip to Simpson Brook Dispensary right down the road.

5 stars are not enough! Thin, crunchy, tangy sourdough crust with the perfect combination of toppings. My absolute favorite is the Heart of goat!! I don't know if this helps, but during my last Italy trip I couldn't wait to get back here for the best pizza.... It just makes me happy ? Love the food and the people!!
