Very nicely redone farm house, amazing food, great service. Worth the drive.
Just had the most amazing brunch for Easter. Absolutely the greatest, whimsical drinks, delicious desserts, upbeat atmosphere and just an overall incredible experience.
Had to leave coat on,no heat, waited one hour for dinner and the food was very cold could not eat it. Brought it home and fed it to the dogs.Very disappointed. 100.00 dollar meal and couldn't eat it.
I have always enjoyed eating here, good quality food at a reasonable price. Nice enough for a casual date night but laid back enough to take the kids. They have vegetarian options and gluten free options. I mentioned to the server I needed to have gluten free options for medical reasons and she was super helpful with my order. Very grateful.
This is the 2nd time my partner and I have been here, the first being for the NYE buffet they held at the event space. The food was good enough then to make us come back for their Valentine's Day special, which was a steal for $85. We got 1 appetizer (scallops with corn polenta & guanciale jam). The app came with 6 scallops! My wife said she could have eaten it as an entree, so it was an excellent start. The next course was soup or salad. I got the Tuscan kale soup and my wife got the panzanella salad, both supurb. For the main course we got the Chicken and Fettuccine and the steak with garlic potatoes and carrots (both pictured below). The final course was an Italian dessert trio with champagne. Overall all the food was excellent and well worth the trip. We will definitely be back in the future. FYI, the drinks pictured below were extra (not part of the $85) but we're excellent and fun so included the picture.
Everything was great, but the fish tacos were amazing!!!!!!!
There are not a lot of quality restaurants out in the wilds of Franklin county, but the Phoenix House certainly qualifies. Quality food, friendly staff and customers, and fair prices make it worth the drive
Food was excellent and staff amazing! Can't wait to go again!
A great little spot with a definite "Old Vermont" atmosphere. Great food, and great service. All this and a great price. Definitely would recommend stopping if you are any where near.
