Excellent service, delicious food, great beer selection, nice atmosphere. So glad we gave it a try. We will definitely be back.
Had dinner last night. Service was good. My wife's burger was good. The fish and chips was not the amazing experience I've come to know. The fish was more generic and not the high standards I have experience in the past. However the thing that caused me to write this review is the back of the house fee. I think restaurants should pay all of their team members what ever they need to in order to retain and support them. The cost of that should be priced into the food and beverage prices on the menu. Please get rid of the back of the house fee.
I am not a big beer drinker but still enjoyed the beer flight. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. He recommended the type of beer based on our preference and he was spot on. The barrel aged Lenore was unique and had complex flavor I didn’t know can exist in stout. He was also mindful that my child wanted to have the fried chicken sandwich but the special sauce was spicy and offered to have it on the side. The dishes are all very tasty without overly seasoned, the fish and chips are delicious, crispy and light without feeling excessively greasy.

Ultimately, It’s just another strip mall brewery with nice ambiance where I paid $30 for a beer and burger with fries. Simply topping off the beer glass properly would have been seen as some kind of value provided for this customer’s experience.
Food, beer, service and ambiance…all 5 star!

These guys at Black Flannel are the real deal. The food is top-notch , scratch-made and the on-prem brewery churns out consistent beers in a wide variety of styles from stouts to sours and DIPAs to Pilsners.

When we visited we had planned to go to the distillery side, but the hours are not the same as the restaurant. As tourist we only thought to check the hours on Google, but probably should have visited the website. We just did miss it.
We decided to have our meal here. The beer was good. I wouldn’t say it’s like great. We have some awesome breweries in AVL at home so the bar is pretty high. I think there are probably some better beer options in downtown Burlington that we tried. BUT, this is still a place you should check out because the food was really really good. I think the combo of having good beer and great food made for a good experience. I also tried a gin drink on the menu. It was good and I enjoyed the mezcal addition (I think I remember it being a mezcal gin drink). Our service at dinner was excellent. I gave it 4 because they lost our name spot somehow and we ended up waiting an extra 25 min. It was very loud and busy, but again, I’d go back. The food was really good (get the wings).

Big, beautiful brewpub in an old outlet mall that they're revamping into an adult playground.
We discovered these guys at a beer festival downtown.
Great beer selection, and they seem to brew to style, which I think is great.
The Berliner Weiss is spot on, and the lager is delicious.
We ordered the smash burger with fries, it was good, maybe a bit too salty but I didn't mind.
Super friendly staff.
Didn't get to try their canned cocktails or spirits, as I was driving.
Another great place in the area to add to the pub crawl!

Went today for the first time for lunch with two older ladies one in a wheelchair we sat outside on the patio under the umbrella in the shade very comfortable. The food was very very good
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible. I really appreciate it that they took reservations because when you have someone in a wheelchair it's easier to plan ahead
