AS an old hand in dining going back to the west Denver area circa late 1960's...you can haul yourself all over northern New England but won't find a better eatery than Bramble. Tonight is our anniversay #52! (12-14-73) and there is no where else I would take my bride Karen Cyr. Shawn and his crew do a consistently >great job. Gavin Wright, Essex/Derby, Vt

What an amazing experience. The most unexpected jewel to find in northern rural vermont. A top notch dining and culiinary spot that will stand out above and beyond most. One of the best meals and experiences I've encountered in a long time. The food has depth, extremely creative, and well balanced. Our server was very knowledgeable and experienced. Passionate. There isn't anything on the menu that you wouldn't want to try. If your lucky enough to dine here, it will definitely be a place to remember.

We’ve been here several times with our kids. The pizza is excellent, and we’re originally from Long Island. It’s not a Long Island pie, but it is a nice oven pizza with a thin crust.
The other offerings on the menu have never disappointed, highly recommend the roasted olive appetizer, it’s a favorite of ours. Last time we were there I ordered the rabbit ragu tagliatelle and it was amazing. The flavors were so incredibly complimentary I spent the meal trying to decipher what everything was to replicate at home. The chicken dish is delectable, my husband got the swordfish and said it was the best he’s had in memory.
Our service has always been prompt but never pushy, and we’ve spoken with the owner a couple of times. Brought family here.
Very nice place, is now a regular of ours.

I'm updating my review as the last few times, they food hasn't been that good. Unfortunately, we loved Bramble as it was a core experiencing when we first moved to VT but lately the food has not tasted too good. The chicken dish has been over salted the last 3 times we've had it and the pizza lacked cheese, pepperoni and sauce. It is a bit overpriced and I feel like the quality has gone down a bit.

The food is the best quality food you can possibly have. It’s always a variety and it’s local and you can be guaranteed it doesn’t have any GMO or pesticides. The chef she is phenomenal. It’s family owned so they care about the families that come in there. the bartender he is the best and can create any type of cocktail you want. The atmosphere is so social and so familiar you wanna bring your kids, but you also wanna go on a date night they will make you feel special. We’ve come from California, Philadelphia, and Florida and every time we come back even close by we’ll go there.

Super slow
Absolutely blown away by this place. My friends loved their cocktails (painkiller and garden gnome) I loved my mocktail (Tommy Jr), best biscuits I’ve ever eaten and I’m from the south. The risotto was incredible. The service was lovely. The vibes were bright and beautiful. Will be back for more.

The key here we found is the food is seasonal as it is from fresh suppliers in the area. What you see in line will not necessarily be on the menu that day. We chose to share items which turned out perfectly as even the salad was enough for 3 people. If available, Try the caramelized onion pizza: it truly tastes like French onion soup!

The staff was nice and so was the atmosphere. However, I was extremely disappointed in the oysters (very sad accoutrements) and lack of protein options. I was told if I wanted to add fish to a $14 salad, I would have to pay the total price of their $34 trout dinner… what?! Also, a $30 risotto with NO protein?! I was pumped to go here for the first time, but honestly was kind of just disappointed. Just keep in mind - if you’re vegetarian/pescatarian, you will have VERY few options here.

We ate here for a mother's day brunch. We had reservations so we were seated immediately. The service was fantastic, the staff was very attentive and polite. The food was really good as well. We sat on their heated patio. It was a little expensive, for 5 people with tip we spent around $300 but we ordered anything we wanted, the average entree was around $20-25 from what I saw but it was worth it. Everything was above normal, even a soda wasn't the big commercial brands, it was served in a glass bottle, made with cane sugar from a company I didn't recognize. And they source many of their ingredients locally. In my opinion it was worth every penny.
