The food was awesome and the service was equally awesome. I will definitely go again. My favorite thing was the duck appetizer but everything was fresh and nicely cooked and presented. And I loved the plates which are like my grandmother's.

I absolutely love this place for the rotating menu and excellent service. Been here 5+ times now since they opened and never had a bad experience. Great people running a great restaurant!

I decided to take a week before writing a review as I felt very underwhelmed. I would like to be very clear that the staff and service was great. The inside was open with unique lighting, hardwood floors, a U-shaped bar with a woodfired oven in the center, and nicely set tables for guests.Drink:Old Fashioned- Nice glass with huge ice ball in the center. Pretty much was just whiskey on ice.... which I am fine. I detected no bitters or even a hint of a sugar. The Food:The cheddar biscuits were wonderful and I could eat them all day.We both ordered the pea and leek soup to go with the biscuits. The presentation was great, however the actual taste and texture left me putting down my utensil. The soup was bitter and inedible. I assume the Manager or owner noticed I didn't really eat the soup so they inquired why and I admitted it was not good. They were nice enough take it off from the bill.My wife got the Risotto and I got the Bolognese. Again the presentation was nice but the actual dish was just okay. Pasta was chewy and the meat/sauce didn't taste like much. The Risotto was not creamy and a bit under cooked. We were both hungry so we just ate quietly. For the money I would not repeat at Bramble.

◾The food is a little hit and miss, but the hits are absolute home runs. When they do well, they do so exquisitely.(e g., The pea soup didn't have a lot going on other than black pepper, but the chocolate sorbet had like four different flavor components, including candied freaking Buddha's hand.)◾ Phenomenal service. You feel valued as a customer, and positively doted on. If you need anything at all, the staff accommodates with a smile on their face. They go out of their way to make sure that you are content.◾The mixed drinks are creative, quality, and for the most part flavor-balanced.Vegetarian options: A few vegan dishes. Vegetarians will be absolutely fine.Dietary restrictions: They ask about food allergies in your party and deftly inform you which dishes you can safely eat. They can modify some of the dishes to, say, make it without crema for dairy-free folks. Ditto gluten-free.

This is my first visit to Bramble. I love the atmosphere. It is spacious clean and inviting. I decided to site at the bar. Talked to the bartender. My most favorite thing to do when visiting a new place. Bartenders know what is good and they always take care of you. Ordered the Turkey Meatballs. Then Biscuits and Gravy. Both excellent flavors. They will not disappoint. The first time the Turkey Meatballs came out they did not have the heat and had to send back. The second batch was perfect. If you are in Essex Vermont and looking for a nice place to have a drink and eat, I recommend you check out this place.

We celebrated my son's 20th birthday! Everything was amazing. I do wish there were a few extra crackers on the cheese and all of plate though. There wasn't enough crackers for all the cheese. It almost would be better to serve a few crackers and a bit of crusty bread.Parking: Plenty of parking. All free.

The food was great. Loved to wood fired pizza and practically no wait for the food. The employees were kind and respectful!

Scintillating menu, nice ambiance. However our food was barely warm. Servings are on the small side. Menu is pricey. We had the $18 VT brisket with eggs and the tiny cold quiche for $16.

I had been wanting to try Bramble for a while and saw they were open for lunch on a day we were looking for a spot to have lunch so we called for a reservation and went in. The place is really beautiful and the atmosphere feels very comfortable and sweet. Service from calling for a reservation to the waiter was fantastic. My friends wanted a bloody mary which wasn't on the menu and they made it for them no problem and both friends claimed it was one of the best bloody marys they'd ever had! The food was all really great and we will definitely be going back.

Food is always excellent and I feel like they really take care of my family, even if we come in a little later towards closing. Very good hosts.

Skirt steak was cut way too small and was not very flavorful. Timing between appetizers and entrees was too short - entrees were brought to the table without clearing appetizer plates.

I debating leaving this review for the last week, but I do think it’s necessary for people to know that this restaurant is very misleading. The restaurant & menu both claim that it is family style and plates are meant to be shared. My partner and I ordered 2 appetizers and 1 entree, and left hungry. The food was delicious, but when a main entree of duck comes out and it’s one piece the size of your fist, how is that supposed to be shared between two people? 7 small shrimp, an odd number, and 5 small pieces of bread (also an odd number). I left feeling hungry, and I am a 120 pound woman. If this restaurant removes their statement that plates are meant to be shared, I would give this a 5 star. But since it is very misleading I believe 3 is fair.
