Oh my word man, for a three star rating, the service I received was better than anything like McDonald's, Dunkin's, etc. Absolutely going to give them a five-star review. Just for ordering a large mac and cheese, the employees, shout out to Oscar if he sees this, did the best they could to help me with the order. If any of you come here, it's definitely worth it. We had our order delivered by door dash and it was right on time. The chicken was awful. Very small thighs, all over cooked, dry, the crust was rock hard, the flavor tasted nothing like it used to, and there were several errors. We order 1/2 original recipe and 1/2 extra crispy. All can original. We received 3 thighs (ordered 4), and received wings in error. While the mashed potatoes have always been instant, these tased like plastic.
The last time I had KFC it was at the Burlington, VT location which is now closed. The food was excellent. Last night’s food from Essex, VT was awful. I actually worked at a KFC in the early 70’s when I was in high school in Yankton, SD so I know what it should taste like when done right. This aint it. Doubt I’ll ever go back.

Ordered dinner on 4/26/25. Items were forgotten, chicken was overcooked and looked like it had been sitting around for a while. My famous chicken bowl, was not famous. Awful. We couldn’t eat any of it. Got reimbursed for the forgotten items, the rest of the dinner, was a learning experience for the staff. Most likely will never get again.

For the 3 of us it was $60. A little high price wise, but we all had a craving. Very disappointed as this is NOT the first time this has happened. I got home and noticed the 2 large order of fries were NOT in the bag. Had to go back out to get them. Once I got home my meal was now cold and the kids already ate. We don’t order from KFC regularly and not in a hurry to go back anytime soon.

Chicken is always hot and crispy. Everything always is on point and tastes great. I tried the Dunk It bucket Mashed potato bites were kind of hard and dry. Not sure if it was me, or how it was supposed to be. Tenders were nice, however I like crispy, and these were not crispy.

Our food was not ready when the app said it would be. We also got shorted on our 8 peice bucket, there was only 7 pieces, missing a thigh. The restaurant does not have a dining room I would eat in.

Dining area was clean but empty. The guy at counter was trying his best to help me and get my order but you could tell he was new and very well trained on the computer and no one wanted to help him. The chicken was old and cold not even enough to do my order the way I wanted had to mix and match so to speak food overall costed about $100 and was not very tasty definitely won't be returning for a bit. They were not that busy either and that was surprising for being dinner time but I can tell why now after this meal.

Food is decent, the places main problem is consistency in staffing. As a lot of people have mentioned there was a long period where when you'd come here they'd be closed
We have gone to the store in Essex Junction Vermont three times and all three times we have had to leave because they were either not open or out of food. Something needs to be done about this!!!!

Arrive at 515 pm on a Saturday night and lobby closed. 35-40 minute wait. Ordered (2) 4-Piece Tender Combos, no fries so asked for corn and potatoes for sides along with water and soda. No water. Ended up receiving 3-Piece instead, Mac/Cheese instead of potatoes, no utensils, napkins and soda was at room temperatures with no ice. I would NEVER go back!!!
