Guy was rude over the intercom. Chicken was dry and tasted a little weird. Potato wedges where good and plentiful. No napkins, no sauces or butter. Could see people in the window handle food with no gloves on.

Went to the kfc in Essex Jct.. Went through the drive through. Bucket of chicken with two large sides. The chicken looks absolutely disgusting. Would you eat it?? Dry and just not healthy looking. I didn't eat it. My other order was nuggets and potatoes. With this order I had asked for the potato wedges. When I received the entire order. The only thing wrong about the second order I had to walk in and return my wedges because they were hard as a break. They said it would take 15 minutes. I already had my order. Who wants to wait 15 minutes on potato wedges?? So I called and spoke to the manager Kaylee. I explained myself. It's like she didn't care. I told her I wanted something done. A refund or whatever. I told her the chicken looked nasty. She kept telling me to call the corporation. So I called and reported the whole situation. I'm still waiting to hear back. I think kfc sucks. Especially spending $39.00. And basically through it out. VT Unexceptable, customer service very poor. Another lady was there too she wasn't to happy she had to wait for her potato wedges either. Being a fast food place you should always have back to food. I don't eat McDonald's or burger King, but at least I can say they have back up.🤮🤮

Sitting out here on a 95 degree day, ordered my food online at almost 11am. Order confirmed sent message order was ready to pick up. Went to pick it up couldn't get in the lobby, okay go through the drive through..says its not open. Called 2 times before someone would answer. We are opening late not.. another 15 minutes. Okay we'll my order says its completed nope going to be another 15 minutes or so. You have got to be kidding me..im sure there are ways you can shut off the online site if you can't open on time..
Very Shoddy service and pretty bad food even for KFC. Go to Wendy's instead

Has to be the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Do not I repeat Do not order from here. Management and staff was extremely rude and should be looking for jobs outside of customer service. Was visiting here and wanted a simple order but was made to feel my money was not welcome here. It’s sad that in 2025 you have people acting So disrespectful and rude. Do not eat here. The customer service is abysmal. 👎

Always open your packaging to make sure you get everything you ordered, I am sick of getting shorted. From now on in store or drive through I am not moving until I've check my order. Apologies to people waiting behind me but if the store has incompetent employees blame them I am also always using va credit not debit so I can dispute the charge if the order is incorrect.

I recently visited KFC close to their closing time, and while I completely understand the pressure of wrapping up the day, I was honestly very disappointed with the quality of the food I received.
Though I saw them assembling my meal, it was clear the ingredients—from the bun to the chicken—had been prepared much earlier. The chicken wasn’t hot or freshly crispy as I’ve seen in so many other reviews. Instead, it tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. Even though it looked crispy on the outside, it wasn’t. The texture was soft and lacked the freshness I usually associate with KFC.
What really bothered me was that, even if it’s the end of the day, customers still deserve the same quality as anyone else. I paid full price, not a discount, so I expected fresh, properly prepared food—not leftovers.
I’ve had great experiences with KFC before, but this visit left me very disappointed. I hope the team takes this feedback seriously—closing time shouldn’t mean cutting corners on quality.

We went at dinner time (5:15 pm) to order a breast meal with an additional breast. We were told they didn’t have any ready (it would be a 20 min wait). How can you NOT have food prepared for a dinner rush when 75%of your business occurs then? They offered 6 tenders ($14.79) as a substitute for the breasts. When we got home there was a drumstick, a thigh, a wing and three tenders. The food was terrible and the service (although the lady at the window was nice) was terrible. It’s the third time I’ve tried this location in the past few months - NEVER had a correct order (food not ready, out of pot pies, out of mashed potatoes). I will not stop at this location again

Oh my word man, for a three star rating, the service I received was better than anything like McDonald's, Dunkin's, etc. Absolutely going to give them a five-star review. Just for ordering a large mac and cheese, the employees, shout out to Oscar if he sees this, did the best they could to help me with the order. If any of you come here, it's definitely worth it. Thanks Oscar for making my day, and take care!

We had our order delivered by door dash and it was right on time. The chicken was awful. Very small thighs, all over cooked, dry, the crust was rock hard, the flavor tasted nothing like it used to, and there were several errors. We order 1/2 original recipe and 1/2 extra crispy. All can original. We received 3 thighs (ordered 4), and received wings in error. While the mashed potatoes have always been instant, these tased like plastic.
The last time I had KFC it was at the Burlington, VT location which is now closed. The food was excellent. Last night’s food from Essex, VT was awful. I actually worked at a KFC in the early 70’s when I was in high school in Yankton, SD so I know what it should taste like when done right. This aint it. Doubt I’ll ever go back.
Ordered dinner on 4/26/25. Items were forgotten, chicken was overcooked and looked like it had been sitting around for a while. My famous chicken bowl, was not famous. Awful. We couldn’t eat any of it. Got reimbursed for the forgotten items, the rest of the dinner, was a learning experience for the staff. Most likely will never get again.
