Usually I really enjoy their food, but I got a stuffed cabbage tonight at a farmers market and the beef on the inside was fully pink and raw. I’ve been told that they also have trouble keeping their food at the acceptable temperatures etc. while at farmers markets. Could be something to look into!
Food is always fabulous! Highly recommend.
I look for any event they have food at and make sure I attend just for there food!!! 100% amazing food!!! A little pricey but VERY much worth it!!!!!!!!! ❤️
The saffron rice with oven roasted chicken is some of the best I’ve ever enjoyed!! Absolutely top notch.
Wonderful service, beautiful display.Wish real ingredients were used, olive oil, lemon etc.Can taste the cheap vegetable oil in the food.
Fantastic food and the baklava is the best I’ve ever had.
Spanakopita use to be delicious... Traveled all the way to Shelburne, VT just to get spanakopita. Purchased 4 of them at $12 a piece, only to arrive home 2 hours later and found that they now make them with just phyllo dough as the top layer. The middle is lasagna noodles, yup cheaper ingredients and does not even taste authentic. Over priced, very disappointed and will not buy from them again.
Fantastic food and top notch service!
Great food. Stuffed grape leaves are amazing.
Fantastic food and top notch service!

Delicious food, my kids loved It! At the montpelier farmers market 😊
What a great restaurant, the food is out of this world and the staff are super friendly. If your lucky enough to find out when they do a whole roast lamb and get your order in soon enough you will find no better meal. EVER!!
My sister and I had a sudden craving for falafel, and since our local town's offering was closed, we decided to try this restaurant on the merit of their photograph and menu. After a 45 minute drive, we pulled in and our first impression was already affected by the lack of snow removal and the necessary but obviously ignored sanding and salting due to a large ice sheet on the incline to the door. This proved difficult to navigate, especially since one of us has to use a cane, but we managed to get in without mishap. We did advise the gentleman behind the counter both on arrival and departure but they never made an effort to correct this dangerous entryway, even while we were leaving. At first glance, the restaurant proved quite small and dingy. There were a few tables cluttered by food racks and coolers that were sparsely occupied by a few imported sodas and bottled water. A few ceiling tiles were missing and it appeared that this place had not had a good scrub down for some time. The lighting appeared to be garage shop lighting, not at all warm or welcoming. But, all this lack of ambience may have easily been forgiven had the service had not been so lackluster and gloomy. The young man who arrived at our table tossed a couple of dirty sticky laminated menus on the table and wandered off. The tiny kitchen was visible from where I was sitting and the cook was listening to someone on their cellphone while he was cooking. Neither of them smiled once, even though we made every effort to be pleasant and engaging. Our server took our orders and we helped ourselves to a beverage from the cooler. The food arrived a half hour later. Here's where the redemption of this visit came into fruition. The feta and olive platter with hot, soft pillows of pita arrived with an emulsified olive oil and lemon that bordered on heavenly. I ordered that falafel platter and that arrived with fresh warm pita, gorgeous lettuce, onions and tomatoes, and the falafel was creamy and spicy and perfectly crispy on the outside. The rice was lovely and fragrant. My sister's falafel sandwich was also over the top delicious. In short, their food is excellent. However, I strongly suggest that if a run down and neglected dining area leaves you cold, do order take out. Their food is really very good! Now for the really critical review: Their restroom is located down a dark, long hallway and you kind of have to figure out which door is which. The restroom is definitely NOT handicapped accessible. It is ancient, dark and cold and questionably clean. If you need to go, I suggest you go elsewhere. It would really be in their best interest to update and improve their dining area and their restroom to remain relevant to the very competitive dining in Chittenden county, but from their demeanor I highly doubt this will ever happen. Such a shame. Even a good down to the bones cleaning and some new paint and wall art would be a quick and relatively cheap improvement. With delicious food such as theirs they must be doing a lot of take out as the dining room only had 4 people in it, including us. I give them a good rating for their food, but as far as cleanliness and updated amenities, they have yet to impress me. Cafe Mediterano gets my good recommendation for their food, but I am loathe to recommend dining in house.
