As not one for Indian foods, this place surprised me! The food was some of the best in the area, and not even limited to just Indian cuisine. The love poured into each dish shines through as does the warmth and welcoming personalities of the family who run the place (from North India directly). I loved everything from the Spicy Noodle Samosas, to the Garlic Naan, and the Kadhi Pakoda. Nothing was less than perfect. The desserts were stellar too, we had the Mango Kulfi and the Coconut Cham-Cham, both of which were balanced perfectly. Thank you to everyone who made this place a reality, they have won me over and I know they will win you too!

What a phenomenal place! I'm a bit of a snob about Indian food and this place is really really good. We were in town for the eclipse and they were kind enough to reserve a table for us to make sure we'd be able to sit and eat. The food is delicious--one of the better samosa chaats I have had, and the tandoori veggies came to the table still sizzling. Just great stuff all around.

We were there for the second time and so much enjoyed again delicious meals in an unpretentious, very welcoming atmosphere. While we had one of their (sizzling hot!) tandooris, one vegan menu, and one of the thalis this time, it is evident that really everything would have been delicious!Vegetarian options: most of their menus can be made vegan, just tell them when you order

My first time here I was invited to celebrate our friend's birthday. The staff was incredibly friendly and let us try one of their dessert cheeses, which are simply to die for. Their Naan is so fluffy and stuffed with yummy goodness, there are no bad choices here. Rice is yellow and seasoned with Safron and Cardamom pods. Their vegetarian curries are the BEST I've had, made with high quality ingredients. My three favorites are the Vegetable Korma with cream, Saag Paneer, and Paneer Masala. They also have delicious Masala tea. Please check them out!

The service was wonderful, we came in with a larger party of 5 people and they were very accommodating. The food was delicious and I highly suggest coming here. My only note is there is no meat in the menu but don’t let that deter you.

this very unassuming restaurant is by far the best Indian food we’ve ever had… and we eat a lot of Indian food! quality tasty and by the way totally reasonable prices. I loved the hot and sour Indian soup, chole bhature, the Samosa chat, chana sag and the masala dosa. really so so so tasty. highly recommend! excellent service as well.

Vegetarian only. I asked "what has protein," and they recommended Dal Tadka, which are yellow lentils. I had that with the rice that comes with it, and it tasted great. I asked for mild, and it was mild, but still with a small spicy kick, which was fine. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't mind a meal with no chicken or other meat. Also, friendly, helpful service.Vegetarian options: Instead of traditional dishes with chicken, they use cheese cubes

I think Namaste Garden is the top restaurant in the greater Burlington area. I am so happy that a family-run restaurant is thriving based on the quality of the food and pride-of-ownership in the wait staff.I think the atmosphere is entirely appropriate, too. It is a busy, noisy place because regulars keep bringing new friends and family and everyone talks about food. The food is simply marvelous and is spiced to taste. Two standouts are an onion chutney said to be the only authentic one being served in Vermont (I believe them) and pakoras so hot from the kitchen they can only be eaten with a fork and knife. Too hot to handle!

Namaste Garden is the best restaurant in Essex Junction and probably the surround areas as well. The food is so rich and delicious it made my transition into a meatless diet so easy. The staff is so kind, warm, and welcoming that you feel at peace within their atmosphere. I would recommend to everyone regardless if they are vegetarian or not. It is just that good.

This was such a lovely restaurant. The service was quick and the food was delicious. We had the garlic naan, samosas, Chana masala, and paneer. The garlic naan was especially flavorful. The portions were also very generous. The owner also treated us to tea after the meal and stayed to chat a bit about the restaurant. Overall, the ambience of the restaurant was homey and welcoming and the food was excellent! 5/5.

Great little spot for very homely prepared vegetarian (north) indian cuisine. Found it on Google search and landed there on a whim and everyone there was so welcoming and pleasant. Tasty food and generous portions too. 2 entrees were sufficient for the 3 of us!

Love this place! My fiancé and I have quickly made this in to a regular after getting the Shahi Talli and being wowed first with that and then anything else we randomly chose from the menu. Lovely people too.
