We love it here. Whenever we are in town and craving Indian, we always stop. We generally sit in, but have been doing take out more recently. Service is great, but it isn't a very comfortable inside. I believe that they do a lot of take out vs dine in. Either way, Red Panda Essex is a must for you. We understand prices of things have gone up but over the years the quantity of chicken in the butter chicken has gotten smaller. Nothing that will change us from visiting but we used to get two full meals out of it, now we get maybe 1.5 if we are lucky.

BEST BUTTER CHICKEN I'VE HAD IN AGES!! this is the best red panda in vermont. small family-run vibes and not super busy (aside from the rush of delivery drivers running in and out). super friendly staff and delicious food, definitely worth a visit!!

Everything we had was quality and delicious, from the sweet creamy coconut curry, the flavorful chicken chow mein, the salty spiced pork momo dumplings, to the perfectly cooked naan. The space is small and cozy and the service is excellent. We will definitely be back!
