Me and my father stopped in for a quick bite and came out unhappy about the food and the way the workers mood killed the atmosphere. the bacon on the pre made sandwiches were raw, the donuts didn’t seem like they were glazed and instead just sprayed with water and had sprinkles put on them. Would rather stop at the Vergennes police office cause they might have better donuts. Will not be back again.

I can only speak for the one employee but the body language was cold and uncaring and any dialogue was clipped and abrasive. For $53 I got two foot long subs two peanut butter bars, a single serve bag of chips and two seven layer bars. I personally think this is outrageous. I asked for extra bacon and extra mayo on the slip they have you fill out and got neither. Will never be eating here again.

Good food but very incompetent when they are busy and will fulfill any order in whatever order they see fit, potentially wasting all or most of your lunch break.

Love the Bake Shop and Deli, and the assortment of coffees, teas, and old fashioned candy!
Go find a real bakery and deli. Anywhere but here.

Stopped for Vermonter sandwich on travels from NY to Burlington. Baked goods were yummy. Made sure to leave for trip back home on time to stop again for a roast beef sandwich and more baked goods. Bread on these sandwiches was so fresh and sub roll perfect amount of crisp and soft. Dressing used for sandwiches was a good match for meat and just the right amount too. Pleasant seating on spacious front porch. So wish I lived nearby -would be become a weekly stop for us.
Parking: On both sides of shop.

We enjoyed the Vermonter & a Build Your Own sandwich, both were delicious and generous portions. It was difficult to choose from the large selection of baked goods, I went for the peanut butter marshmallow chocolate chip cookie & it was wonderful. Plenty of clean, comfortable, cool seating.
Parking: Plenty of free parking in their lot
Wheelchair accessibility: Gravel lot but no stairs

A lovely little spot for breakfast or lunch. They have really good baked goods and make great sandwiches. Worth the drive from Burlington on a nice day, or a convenient stop on the way to or from NY.
