Beautiful historic Inn! We were visiting for a wedding and had a wonderful time! The inn and outbuildings are clean, equipped with modern amenities, and decorated to provide that historic feel. We absolutely loved the Phelps barn (of course!). Delicious food and drink! If you're looking for a quintessential Vermont getaway, this is the place to go!

Perfect wedding venue. My room was beautiful and very clean. The wedding weekend was spread out amongst the different parts of the inn (dining hall, patio, tavern, swimming pond, etc) which kept it fresh and interesting. Food, drink and service were excellent, too. Highly recommend for a wedding and reception.

We rented out the entire inn for our daughter’s wedding this last weekend. It was hands down the most amazing consumer experience we’ve ever had. From the rooms, to the Inn Keepers to the bar and wait staff, to our event coordinators and groundskeepers, the coordination of the event, the ceremony sites and the best front porch rocking chairs, everyone and everything was top notch. Everyone we spoke with said they had the best weekend. For us, it was simply magical and our favorite weekend of our lives. Simply amazing. Thank you Grafton Inn. We will be back. Time and again.

Not the best dining experience. The special was a chicken and chorizo mix. The chicken was all dark meat and in my opinion that should have been mentioned

Had a fabulous stay on Saturday after a day of exploring the area as part of a group of vintage Land Rover owners. To end the day at this historic inn was perfect. The rooms are traditional, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was huge. But what stood out was the friendly service. I had reserved a seat at the bar/restaurant which was busy but the desk clerk walked me over to the barn and handed me to the hostess who got me to my seat and talked with the bar tender and within minutes I was has having an excellent dinner and a cold martini to cap things off. I look forward to returning and spending more time on the property. Thanks!

This review is for a bit more than just the dinner we had as we stayed at the Grafton Inn for a wedding weekend that was held there. We experienced the hospitality of the entire staff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner multiple times and at each time, the staff was amazing and the food was delicious. From the welcoming hostess, to the lively bartender, and the ever present with a smile wait staff who took care of our every need (especially Sara and Lisa!), we enjoyed all of our interactions that they served up for us. The variety of food we enjoyed at the Phelps Barn and the Tavern was unique, delicious, and always on point. The chefs and cook staff should be commended for their skills not only on the exceptional food they prepared but the speed and manner in which they provided it. All things considered, it was an outstanding experience in dining and hospitality from a collaboration of professionals set in the most charming locale. THANK-YOU!
