1801 Tavern & Pine Room Bar

We had a wonderful dinner. We had a two year old and six year old. The staff was very welcoming and luckily the children ( and adults) behaved. The food was great, although the portions were large.

They messed up our reservation. Requested a higher table and higher sitting chair because of my back. However they did not have that thus we sat at the bar which had higher sitting chairs.

Maggie was our waitress and she was perfect. Friendly warm vibes and the food is always very good.

A little confusing to fine the right door because the place has like 4 names. But it's the barn next to the Inn. Beautiful setting, great service, amazing food and drinks. Definitely recommended!

Phelps Barn always provides a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Food is quite good. Service is exceptional all in all It's a fabulous place to spend time have a great meal.

The setting was so nice I proposed to my girlfriend - oh ya the drinks, meal and service were all top notch.

Tonight was their apps and taps night which consists of 4 or 5 different appetizers and a drink for $16. Chicken wings with cider bbq sauce was great. Caesar salad was very big, fresh, well made and delicious. Our server, Hannah was very sweet, remembered us from breakfast and engaged us in conversation, took care of all our needs. Meghan at the bar was also very nice and pleasant. We would highly recommend going to the Phelps barn for dinner and drinks. So much so we are going back tomorrow for burger and brew night.

Another wonderful dinner at the Phelp's Barn. Delicious corn chowder and cheese curd appetizer! We both had burgers which were excellent as usual. Can always count on a good meal!

Such a beautiful place, in what is the quintessential Vermont village. We had a fantastic meal and drinks for our wedding anniversary. Service was outstanding; kudos to Hannah, our waitress. Special place; we'll be back! Only feedback would be that the portions are a bit small; we probably would have gotten an appetizer if known. Otherwise, terrific place.

The service was impeccable! Friendly, professional, attentive, and took good care of my food allergies. We ate on the patio, which was quiet and pleasant. The food was delicious; the filet was especially nice with the sauce and the roasted cipoline onions. The wine list was great and included a vegan wine I enjoyed. Would definitely eat here again.

Food was excellent, great ambience and amazing live entertainment from Jason Cann. What an amazing singer! Our server Jo Ann was so attentive and sweet. Lovely night out at Phelps Barn!!

You can't go wrong with a meal at the Grafton Inn. My husband had the lamb and it was so tender he could cut it with his fork. I had the filet and they were kind enough to substitute the vegetable to my preference. The filet was cooked absolutely perfectly! Both my husband and I cleaned our plates. Lisa was our server for this meal and she is always so kind and helpful ❤️ A delicious anniversary meal ❤️

Would highly recommend stopping here to eat! The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing!

Food is always so good at Phelps Barn. We love the brussels sprouts appetizer and the mushroom appetizer. Fish and Chips and beef stew were excellent and the quantities were more than enough. We heard Don Dawson on the guitar and even danced a bit. Just a terrific evening

Phelps barn is my favorite restaurant near where I live. It's our go to place to celebrate. The ambiance is really as important to me as the food. You just feel so happy and comfortable there with the live music and fireplace especially on a cold winter's night. The meals are delicious! The service is excellent. It's expensive but it's worth it.
