One of the best secrets in Vermont! Located in a small town of Grafton, this restaurant has phenomenal atmosphere, excellent food, and fantastic service! If you're in southern Vermont and is a must for dining! 
We were seated in the main dining room (1801 Tavern Room) which is filled with historic charm. It is elegant, yet cozy and welcoming. The tables are spaced far enough apart that noise is not a problem or distraction. We split a Caesar Salad, which was delicious. I enjoyed a glass of Oregon Pinot Noir and ordered the pineapple glazed tuna special that came with black rice. I substituted maple glazed carrots for the leeks due to digestive concerns. Great local spot. Food is xonsistently good. Got the pasta primavera this time. Was different w a spicy tomato sauce, and i very much enjoyed it. Service was friendly and timely. Decent selection of beers, both local and nonlocal. Would def recommend this spot
