These are my final notes regarding Abbott's Glen Inn. (Btw I checked Sept 2020 as stay date, but was during summer and I have no option to mark the last date of my stay.) Yes, unfortunately it has been sold and is no longer going to be a naturist destination, but I take solace in knowing that they were noble in their choice of a buyer. I wish Amy and Lindy the best of health as time progresses. And thank you for my years of great times at your resort. Your ratings on TripAdvisor reinforce your greatness for many other patrons as well. Not many places anywhere even close nearby, if any, for accommodations that are clothing-optional, just day trips to The Ledges. All the more reason (as if any were needed) to mourn the closing of Abbott's Glen. Again, all the best to Amy and Lindy....and Tito!

Abbot glen has now closed for good. We visited here twice and enjoyed our times dancing by bonfire or in their club house to some funky DJ music. Meeting wonderful and like minded couples. Owners were nice and polite. The only thing we didn't like was lack of amenities for the naturist destination and high prices for types of accommodation.

In most cases, better late than never to post a review. This time, perhaps too late, as it’s been years in the waiting and making. For about 5 years of visiting this incredibly wonderful place, I enjoyed every single second. Every. I don’t know where to start on the wonderful things about it. I will mention the hospitality of owners and staff, and dog, the grounds (including the stream and meadows and beautiful landscaping and pond and old car still for sale and older car giving in to the elements), the accommodations, the Sugar Shack, the meals, the overall atmosphere, and even weather regardless of its type because everyday can bring something new and wonderful. Not yet mentioned the beach and lazy stream and my all time favorite, the very walkable extensive forest. I’ll never forget the day visited I was there when I saw a darkening sky as if threatening rain and thought I’d better get to the car. Lindy came out to tell me it was already 8 o’clock! No wonder it was getting dark! I was supposed to have left at 6pm, and they were kind enough to let be with only the one day pass fee rather than two. I have yet to mention the gift shop at check in/out. Great items! I bought a robe and 2 towels which I use more than any of my other ones because they are that soft and comfy. As for the rooms, I have had only great experiences with each. The Tiny House is my absolute favorite, and other than a bed, what the heck else do you need that isn’t provided on site? I usually went at times when the number of guests was low if any at all. Felt like I owned the place! The ones I met were incredibly pleasant which was unsurprising considering everything else was pleasant. Got to meet a few of them during pre-pandemic breakfast. Embarrassingly at one breakfast after a few years of visits, I asked a person next to me how long he’d been coming here….and it was Lindy!!! Didn’t even recognize him from the corner of my eye, lol! So, from Amy, Lindy, Tito the canine, and staff, to the grounds, accommodations, and all around atmosphere, I can without doubt say that all my stays at Abbott’s Glen have been great ones. Enjoy it when you can!!! I almost always have written positive reviews when warranted, and this one is no exception. You can check my record on TripAdvisor on that. This is the most heartfelt one I’ve ever written of them all, and I wish the Abbotts all the best! Now, I must unfortunately get dressed to go into the otherwise typically mundane existence of non Abbott’s Glen life….

We visited this wonderful little gem during the first weekend of October. The property is absolutely gorgeous, lots of space to enjoy the sun, meet other guests, etc. Great friendly dog who will happily guide you through the trails. The owners are the absolutely sweetest people, who did their best to provide us with a limited but still perfect service with current covid limitations. Great little club house with a wood fireplace, cozy sitting area, and games. Delightful view of the stars at night, comfy bed, cozy rooms, and a hot tub. Truly a wonderful little getaway, specially for those wishing to explore the Southern Vermont area.

Another great visit. Once again....Amy and Lindy have covered all of the bases in making sure everyone stays safe from this nasty virus going around. There are cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer EVERYWHERE. All of the guests , that we noticed, were respecting the social distancing and mask rules. We REALLY missed the elegant meals Amy always prepared BUT Lindy made an awesome bond fire BOTH nights. Thank you Amy and Lindy for sharing your slice of paradise with the rest of us.

My wife arrived there mid-week following the 4th of July. The room we had was the best that they had and it was very nice with a king size bed, etc. No complaints about the room. And no complaints about the breakfast - that was highlight of the trip. We had to get dressed and drive 10 miles to a small nearby town to get lunch and/or dinner. They had a residential type jacuzzi which didn't work. They had a finnish sauna. That wasn't operational either. We wandered down to the stream and found two broken beach chairs to sit on. Pondside was rather "buggy". There were very few other guests. There really was nothing to do except watch television. Having experienced Cypress Cove in Florida, this was truly a disappointment, especially when I was paying over $200 per night.

My wife and I love the entire experience of Abbot's Glenn.... ..The prepared food is fantastic!!!! (I'm an eater!!)...Food is served as a group setting and leads itsself to fun conversation! You may arrive as strangers but the atmosphere is so friendly you will leave as friends!
