The vibe was really chill and friendly. My buddy said it's the only darkroast coffee he ever had that wasn't bitter. I had a apple ginger croissant that was lovly

Have come a few times now, enjoy the stop for some tea and live music! Pastries are killer and the atmosphere is welcoming. Parking can be a bit busy cause it is the middle of town but for sure worth the stop!

Favorite coffee place in the U.S. It’s truly heaven. Love the vegan cookie and overnight oats in addition to the coffee.

Beautiful space, airy and light, with comfortable seating. And of course, delicious coffee and pastries! Appreciate the vegan options, including one delightful vegan cookie. Always a favorite to visit when in hardwick!

This is a gem of a place! Top notch spot for a great coffee or tea and some fresh baked goods. It's bright and spacious with ample seating. And it's, of course, a front seat to view all kinds of trucks for those truck-loving kids out there!

Front Seat Coffee has changed my life! There used to be no place in Hardwick or the surrounding area to "hang out" and have a cup of latte and a panini while working on my laptop, and now there is! The staff and food and environs are perfect. And they are doing so well they recently doubled their space. Thank you, Front Seat Coffee!

Vegetarian options: They have various vegetarian options in baked goods and sandwiches. A great place for people of all diets!

Their baked goods are absolutely delicious and beautiful too. Great coffee, nice coffee shop atmosphere. A big shelf of books and board games on hand to enjoy during your visit. Highly recommend the sausage/egg/cheese breakfast biscuit if you’re hungry! This place is truly a gem especially in our rural area.

Parking: Free street parking right out front, or you can use the free public lot across the street next to Village Restaurant

We come to this area of VT regularly to visit my husband's Aunt. We drive to Front Seat every morning when we're visiting because we find it not only incredibly charming, but also high-quality. We are from the New York Metro Area. The pastries here blow anything I can think of in NY out of the water. I'm so glad they just expanded their seating capacity within the last week. If you're within a 1/2 hour of this place at any time in VT, you must go.
