Sat at the bar got drinks within 5 minutes No one ever came back to ask if we wanted anything else like food We corralled the takeout quality control technician and asked if he could place an incoming order along with pushing the outgoing orders- he obliged us willing even though he had worked the last 47 shift hours to help make up for called out staff We watched a second bar tender begin her shift and spend about 20 minutes prepping before beginning to make drinks for the servers - still no inquiries to us as to a second drink - empty glasses on the bar 30 minutes now Figured we would take the time to give folks the heads up on what to expect First time we have left that bar thirsty!!

Food quality took a turn for the worse as soon as the skinny pancake owners took over. Mixed drinks are smaller, pizza is solid but not great and the entrees are all overpriced garbage. Dont waste your money

Well, we’ve been customers since the place opened, years ago.
And through the years, it’s been a fairly reliable place for a great pizza.
It’s had its staffing issues through the years, but somehow they’ve always persevered and continued to produce great pizza.
We dropped by last night around 4 o’clock in hopes that we could beat the dinner rush.
Once we were seated, we waited 30 minutes for water and our drinks. I asked when I ordered my drink if they had Rookies root beer on tap and I was assured that they did.
When the waitress came back 30 minutes later with a Diet Coke, she brought my root beer, which was a Maine Root beer in a bottle. When I asked her what happened to my draft Rookies she said that this bottle root beer was the only root beer they had.
She didn’t listen to me when I placed my order. She only heard root beer.
We ordered a Caesar salad to be brought first, followed by two small pizzas.
We waited another 45 minutes for our food to come to our table. The salad and the pizza is all showed up at the same time.
We had specifically asked for the salad to be brought first.
We asked her to take the salad back and take it off our bill as we wanted to eat our pizza while it was hot.
Again, she came back with a gift card for nine dollars for the salad that we asked her to take off our bill. She told us the manager told her to give us the gift card.
My wife went up to speak with the manager, who also happened to be making the pizzas.
My wife explained that we did not want a refund on a gift card that we wanted to take off our bill and the manager knew nothing about our situation and refunded us our nine dollars in cash.
She did not spoken to the manager about the problem nor had he told her to issue us a gift card.
I’m just gonna say that it’s going to be a very, very long time that we- as loyal customers - are going go back.
I think there are training issues and a staffing issues until they have some professional management on site, who knows how customers should be treated.
Positive Pie has been a great place to go through the years and I hope that it can turn things around and come back from its current sad state.
There was one brand new waitress there last night that was doing the very best She could try to satisfy everyone else, even though she was getting no support from the other two waitresses who appeared to be customer avoidant. It’s like they did not want to take care and serve customers.
So we waited 30 minutes for our Diet Coke and root beer and another 35 minutes until our pizzas hit the table. And when we arrived, there was a table of six and a two top.
By the way, we got served before the two top that was there before us.
So last night was not fun or an enjoyable evening out for a lot of people

Brussels sprouts and pizza were great! The waiter was working his butt off and was. Super attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend a stop here when in the area!

Everyone take notice that all the great positive reviews are from a couple years ago. We have been going to Hardwick Positive Pie for 5 years . They had the very BEST pizza. I have raved to everyone I know about what a great restaurant this is, and does not matter what we have it was absolutely amazing, and how we never go anywhere else when we are in Hardwick. The staff were absolutely amazing, very attentive and very friendly ! Then recently we heard there was going to be new owners but not to worry it wouldn’t change. Well …let me tell you the next time we went , they took out the wood fire pizza oven, and the pizza was awful, but we thought they were just getting adjusted to the new oven…. Waited several weeks before we back. The first thing I noticed was there was only one of the friendly faces that used to greet us was there. I ordered a margarita that did not have any alcohol in it . Ordered French fries with a side of garlic aioli, did not get the aioli , and waitress was not around to flag down. Pizza finally came, after waiting an extremely long time . Especially since there was no one at the bar , and only a couple tables, the crust was burnt and very tough, nothing all of what it used to be . The new owners have ruined what used to be the very best place around in a very short time. I will not be going back. I guess you can say it is an end of an era .

Nice little place. Don't let the name fool you, way more than just pizza. We enjoyed a couple of really good salads and the smokehouse pizza. All excellent. Good selection of beers on tap and a well stocked bar. Not a lot in Hardwick but worth the drive for Positive
