We adore this diner. It is a ritual for us. We completely support the owner’s passion for making this world a better, kinder place. The food is yummy!!! Expected increase in price but still a great deal. Pancakes best in the world!

Very unprofessional talk by owner. Wouldn’t even suggest this place to people I don’t like.

The food here is okay but the prices are outrageous. Also the political propaganda is outright scary, not to mention, includes inappropriate language for children. The life size cutouts of Fauci, Obama and Sanders made me want to punch someone in the face. Interesting that they have copies of the Constitution at every table. Maybe they should read it sometime.

I got the mason Dixon Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. Small-town diner atmosphere. Great food!

Breakfast place with overpriced food. We got there and had to sit at the counter because all other tables(4 or 5 tables) were full. Sat for 5-10 minutes before someone even looked our way. This is when we got our menus.. we looked over the menu and figured out what we wanted. I thought that because they had us wait so long for the menus, they would be more attentive when it came to ordering. It was like they were avoiding taking the order. I had to grab a person to ask if we could order. The prices were very expensive, in my opinion.. $6 for an 8-oz glass of orange juice poured from a container you would buy at the store. The pancakes were big about 10-12 inch diameter but were $16-25 depending on your choice. For the 2 of us, the bill was $45 for an oj, an english muffin sandwich, a coffee, and a pancake. The food was only adequate, nothing to rave about. The atmosphere was political, with pictures and cardboard cutouts of bernie sanders, obama, and other political figures, and what i would consider woke ideals. I would not go back again and wish i chose someplace else to eat in the first place.

Once we got seated for breakfast no one offered us coffee. They were busy giving everyone else coffee. The. They came over and asked me what we wanted to eat. I still wanted my coffee. Coffee finally came when have the meal was gone. The food was cold and the portions are not great but I’m glad about that cause it was the worst place ever for breakfast. Go anywhere else if you want good food and service

Fantastic food and atmosphere. We were served quickly and ate even quicker! Wish there were more Hartland Diners everywhere.

Such an awesome, tiny diner full of rad vibes and good food! As a Windsorite, it's so awesome to have a modern, progressive safe space so close by. Ordered loaded hashbrowns with avocado and tomato, they had good-sized proportions and came fresh! Had a seat at the bartop, it was so fun to look around at all the posters, dinosaurs, and political imagery. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture with cardboard cutout Bernie Sanders. Waitress was so lovely and kept on apologizing for little things, she's gotta give herself more credit! Yes, a bit pricey, but the literal fascist regime that's happening? Tariffs? Employees have to make a living, and you shouldn't mark this awesome little spot down because of it. Highly recommend coming here, especially if you're vegan or leftist!

Wow.
Amazing for vegans & non-vegans alike.
Thee Eggs Benedict (I had the vegan version) was incredible! There is an entire separate menu for each diet.

The atmosphere was fun & congenial. Lots to read & smile about.
Looking forward to driving through the area to visit again!

Atmosphere and vibe were great and inline with that of my own BUT the prices were quite shocking. I spent less money at Hash House a Go Go in Mohegan Sun and got a bigger and better meal lol. I'm all for punching a fascist and all but the prices seemed quite hypocritical to that message. In the end lesson learned and at least we supported a local business but I wouldn't go back a second time. $25 for a bfast wrap that was mostly potatoes and came with zero sides just put me in a mood. $65 for a bfast for two at a local diner was just wow. End rant.

This place is super Lefty lunatic woke in every possible way. It's worth the experience even being from the other side to feel like you're Behind Enemy Lines. But as the rare conservative vegetarian that I am I can appreciate the quality of the food and the respectfulness of vegetarians and vegans.
