Great atmosphere, I think this place is under rated for the food prep to be honest. Ashley was our server and was wonderful and accommodating. The food was good, but for the prices people are paying, we expect a little better. I say this because the kitchen seemed to have a hard time getting a lot of the food hot, you can tell it was reheated (which is fine), but not reheated enough and likely reheated too soon. My friend’s risotto was flat out cold. The lam lollis were soooo cooked, and barely warm. Ordered my steak medium rare and got medium maybe even medium well, it seemed like such a waste to send back, so I didn’t. It was good though. I liked the selection of beer.

Love this place! A little dated in decor, but amazing food, drinks and service. We went with our friends who like very different cuisine than we. We like healthy and fresh food, while they prefer rich and indulgent food. We were all delighted with everything. They also had an amazing singer/musician. Will be back!

I was skeptical about how this place would be different than other “steakhouses”. I was so impressed….that does not come easy. Every item was cooked and presented to perfection. The service was excellent. It is quite the operation and it shows in the quality of the food, drinks, and service. Thank you. Alyssa - Maine

We were here 10.20.23 service was better . Menu was different as in better. Like sliders. Calamari not bad ... This clam chowder was more like broth ... disappointed... left. 60 plus out of pocket later ...

Food, staff, and atmosphere are incredible. The first night we arrived we decided to stop here because of how beautiful the lights looked. We arrived just after a tour bus left and even though the staff looked exhausted they were so friendly and invited us to have a seat at the bar while we waited. The bartender was awesome and got us drinks right away and they were so delicious. We were there for only about 10 minutes before they got us seated next to the water wheel! Our server was super fun and personable. We got oysters on the half shell which were delicious and sweet. I highly recommend their steamed mussels as they were so rich and tender, the broth was light and tangy and had us spooning it out of the bowl. I got the last chicken Marsala of the night and it was to die for. The mushrooms alone were packed with flavor and the chicken was perfectly cooked. For dessert we had the maple creme brûlée and it was the perfect dish to end a perfect meal. We beef up coming back for one of our last nights and sat at the bar this time. The fish sandwich was so flaky and sweet and they do not skimp on portions. I usually order tarter sauce on the side but forgot and am i glad because their sauce made the sandwich! Thank you Foundry for the passion you put into your food and service.

The atmosphere was truly dreamy??so beautiful and clean!
The food was absolutely delicious ? I highly recommend trying the baby arugula salad, and for dinner, the chicken marsala, bone-in ribeye, and pork tenderloin were exceptional. Their service and waitstaff are excellent and polite.
Thank you?

We celebrated our 35th anniversary tonight and decided on The Foundry. They had 2 buses and seemed busy but there was still plenty of room in the tavern. We had cocktails on the deck overlooking Summit Pond. It was so relaxing watching the ducks and geese on the water. We went to a table in the tavern and ordered potatoe croquettes for an app. So crunchy and delicious. Hubby had ribeye with bearnaise and I had seared scallops on top of spinach, charred corn and onion. I dipped my scallops in a flavorful herbed butter. The food was phenomenal! We over-ate so bad. I wish we had the room to finish. Hopefully the leftovers for lunch tomorrow are close to this good! The waitstaff was charming and fun. We don’t care for stuffiness and these folks were so personable. Loved every minute of our evening.

Our dinner at The Foundry was underwhelming. The atmosphere is very nice. However the food was rather disappointing. The filet mignon was dry and definitely not worth 52$!!! The mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a bag. The Caesar salad had a very sour dressing and did not actually taste like a Caesar dressing. The only things that were actually worth their money were the burger and the s’mores as a dessert! The service was nice albeit a bit slow, especially when it came to refilling water. All in all the dinner was just disappointing and way too expensive.
