Best little general store in Vermont. Our mobile veterinary practice stops there at least two times a week. We are always met with smiles and kind greetings, topped off by great food and anything else we might need! (Today we needed fix a flat!). We leave full and content knowing there is such goodness in the world!
The staff at this place are friendly, personable, dedicated and genuinely caring. You will never find a store as welcoming and friendly, even across all General Stores in Vermont, as this one. Its backcountry feel and warm atmosphere makes it a must-visit for travelers. From old style “Bronze Seal” car leak sealant to birthday candles and freshly baked goods, this store is truly a “general” store.
This is THE town general store to visit. Check out the local bread and food selections. Heck, they even have a hardware section for the small needs that crop up not needing a trip off of the mountain. Fantastic people run the place and don't forget to get an ice cream bar when here.
