This restaurant has been closed for several years. We decided to try this restaurant one weekend and found that it had been closed. I wish people would remove there websites if they are no longer in business.

This is a low key, very eclectic dining experience. It's a popular sonowmobile destination and popular for the old folks (I have an uncle that drives an hour with his wife and friends just to eat here!) The menu has a lot of options including a yummy prime rib! You can expect Homestyle cooking along with a salad bar with a good variety of salads and sides. It's not 5 star dining, but it's cozy with backwoods charm.

I have been wanting to go to this place for a very long time, what a horrible experience. Cite on the outside, dumpy on the inside! They had nothing. Wanted unsweetened ice tea, they were out, my daughter wanted chocolate milk, they were out, she ordered grilled cheese, they were out! And the salad bar was disgusting, wilted lettuce, no veggies.... what a disgusting place!

This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. There was a dog walking around begging for food and laying under the tables. The menus were held together with zip ties! They had nothing that was on their menu. The waitress pretty much had to pick what we could order. I asked for a cosmopolitan to drink and the waitress laughed and said what's that? (It was on their menu) When the food did finally come out there were hairs all through it. It was not edible. This place was terrible! I would not recommend.

Good seafood and great prime rib. Salad bar has been excellent.

For Seafood, prime Rib and just plain great home style dining, this restaurant is one of the best in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. With an open salad bar including deserts along with great food you definitely won't be leaving still hungry. Friendly waitstaff and very good service top it all off.

We went there for a Valentines dinner with good friends and had rude and very bad waiter. Our meals were cold and very small for the price. Then we placed a order to go and while we were getting the food from salad bar we were asked if we were going to pay for it. How bad is that. They also let their family dog into the dinning area while people were eating. Very bad for business. Never been treated that way. Never again

We've been eating at this restaurant for years. The standards are wonderful .....things like prime rib and meat loaf and chicken pot pie are great. The surprise is that their seafood dishes are also really yummy. I particularly like the baked scallops with bread crumb stuffing. And reminding us of the once great Dog a Team Tavern the sticky buns are to die for. The salad bar is full of wonderful things and yet the best thing here is the amazing maple cream pie! We call ahead and ask if we can bring a whole pie home. It's so delicious The drive out there is lovely any time of year. One of our favorites.

This is a family restaurant just a 30 min ride from Jay Peak. The decor is...1970s country. There was a single server on this not-too-busy Sat night and she was friendly and managed to keep up despite carrying the whole load. We found the food quite average. The prime rib is good, and certainly better than you'd expect from such a place, though mine came somewhat cool and swimming in way too much au jus, as did the others at my table. The soup and salad bar was very small with limited options. The owner really needs to do something about the bathroom. Smells like a sewer and badly in need of a freshen up. While not a disaster, it won't make our rota of go to places when skiing the Peak.
