Drove 40 mins to eat here because website said open. Pulled in and it was a ghost town. Must be out of business.
We loved this place near Okemo for dinner. Arrived around 5pm and there was plenty of space in different areas of the restaurant open. Service was excellent and food was fresh and authentic.
We’ve eaten at Alta 3 times since it opened this past year, and it’s quickly become our favorite dinner spot in Ludlow. The food is just incredible — the pastas especially are to die for. The meatball and burrata apps are also exceptional; there’s really nothing on the menu that hasn’t proven to be amazing. The vibe is fun and social, and the interior is absolutely gorgeous. And finally, the Alta staff is fantastic and so lovely, especially Khyber and Miguel at the bar. We will be back soon, and I’m already counting the days until our next meal! Such a wonderful addition to a town we love.
We've been here multiple times when the previous owners ran and it was always ok, not great, not terrible. New owners definitely stepped it up a bit. We were a party of 15. Food was really good and service was also good. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is cost. We ordered pretty perfectly for the 15 of us, i.e. apps and dinners (4 of each), no dessert and two $50 bottles of wine. Cost was just shy of $100 per person, kids included. We would have preferred to be able to order off regular menu, but understand because of the size of our party why we could not. However,we felt the large party menu was a little pricey compared to the regular menu. We'll go back, but in a smaller party.

Party of six during a holiday weekend. Food and service were excellent. Great wine selection. Would definitely recommend.
The service was incredibly slow, it took 2 hours for 3 family dishes. The food wasn’t bad, but for the price it was not worth it at all. The anchovies in the ceaser salad was completely unwarranted. I wish I could give this a better review but Im thoroughly underwhelmed.
We ordered a cocktail and shared PEI mussels and Pasta Bolognese for dinner. The waiter brought out bread and olives that were delicious. Both the appetizer and the meal were very good and sharing was the way to go as the portions were large. Surprised that the restaurant was empty and the prices of the entrees were steep. However we really enjoyed after a day of skiing.
Not impressed, went just for the great ceiling and didn’t even get to sit anywhere near it. Food was just okay. Overall wouldn't go again.
Bad service not great food and extremely overpriced. They claim all the pasta is homemade but they’d charge 36$ for a penne vodka that comes out of a batiks box. Took over an hour after ordering to get our food and cancelled our appetizers because they never came.
Great food. Great service from Daniel. Very nice gentleman. Would be nice if the music was Italian for the atmosphere. Leslie and I will definitely be back.

That’s amazing! Great Italian food!
If not for the nouveau slightly riche flatlanders from culinary armpits like Long Island and the Gold(plated) Coast of Connecticut, this place would get zero stars. There was a time when Vermont had a great local, farm-to-table culture, but those days are a thing of the past. The future is, sadly, Walmart, fast food joints, and men like Troy Caruso and his seriously bad restauranteurship, probably because he is only in the restaurant business because he could afford to buy a bunch of failing restaurants. Baddabing badda ?. Don’t let the garden growing about 10 feet from 103 in front of his golf course fool you. It’s all just for show
Disappointingly understaffed when visiting on March 26th, whereas a visit a few weeks earlier was much smoother. We were a large group (14) and both the front of house staff and kitchen staff must have been struggling as it took more than 3 hours from sitting down to getting our check for a single course and we were given little attention throughout, including too long a wait for drinks orders to be taken and bread to be provided. We were told service would be slow, but nobody has time for 3+ hours for one course especially when other aspects like drink service was slow too. While the recent visit was max 3 stars, I've given it 4 as previously we had a good time here. With the right number of staff (or, a limitation on the number of reservations more appropriate for current staff levels) this place would probably be a consistent good bet.
One of the best steaks I've ever had in my life. Incredibly friendly service and beautiful ambience inside. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly.
Best dinner we had during our ski trip! Really enjoyed my rack of lamb with chimichurri sauce. My friends remarked on how their steaks were the best they’ve had in recent memory. Service was excellent - when our waiter found out we were celebrating, he gave us Prosecco on the house! Nice atmosphere as well. Would definitely recommend this place.
