Wonderful place. The only issue I have is they are not receptive at all if you ask to have something cooked how you might like it. They cook it there way and that’s it. I have experienced this a few times. Was surprised how unfriendly they are about that, otherwise a good place but I think it’s kind of a big issue.

Was packed with locals on a weekday at 7:30 AM. Servers were friendly, greeted everyone by name, and knew people's orders without asking (as a tourist skiing at the nearby resort, I stood out like a sore thumb). Looks like the business is for sale, so hopefully someone local will buy it to continue the establishment. Breakfast sandwiches and muffins were tasty, even when eaten later as a to-go order. They only accept cash, so had to run across the street to the ATM.

Great place for breakfast in Ludlow! As unpretentious as it gets. Good, basic breakfast menu, with specials all the time. There is often a wait as its not a huge space, but also not many options in Ludlow. Friendly bunch of folks, and they always cook everything right. Great pancakes, biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash, etc. And great prices.

I stopped at the Cafe with my friend, the Baron of Baltimore. We were just returning from an early-morning hunt for the ghost of Phineas Gage over in Cavendish. I started with some instant oatmeal because I was hungry like a sumbitch and thought that meant it’s out in an instant, but I guess that ain’t the case. Who knows. The Baron and I each ate a dozen pancakes and both managed to overeat somehow. We had call up Chief Billings to give us an “oversize load” escort back home. The food was fabulous. Serving sizes were huge. The variety of pancakes was great. And you could order one of each. The waitress was incredibly friendly and cheerful even though the place was packed and busy. Would highly recommend this place. If breakfast is this good I'm sure those fabulous Cooks make a wonderful lunch also.
Everything beat my expectations by a mile. I’ve been to plenty of diners that serve the same type of items, but this one is the real deal. I got a coffee and an omelette with a side of potatoes and toast. Everything was so delicious, especially the coffee. It was also clean, organized, and friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in town. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our meal here. The breakfast we had was delicious. We love supporting local places to eat when we travel and this place did not disappoint. And the service was spectacular. Will definitely visit this place when we visit next time.

This place is delightful. The restaurant is packed today and the service has been fast and friendly. If it's warm enough, the front patio is great, with a view of the town and the hills. Thr blueberry pancakes were light, fluffy and delicious. Plenty of fresh blueberries, almost but not quite popping out of the pancakes. The sausage and strawberries were similarly good. Coming from Boston, the prices are amazing. It seems to be very busy when the town is busy, with good reason. There was a wait list when we got here, but we were able to eat outside very quickly. We'll probably be back tomorrow.

We stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday morning and had a pleasant experience. The prices were alarmingly cheap. The food all came out tasty (good texture, temperature and flavor). The coffee refill service was the best, truly. Please remember to bring cash!!
