Food was yummy. And the view from the patio sitting was beautiful. .

We went here three times for a long weekend - great dinner and lunches post golf! Loved the club sandwich and Cobb salad. Good selection of local craft beer and cider.

The online ordering system did not work well for me: I ended up with two of a few appetizers I ordered and 4 hamburgers instead of the two I ordered and the seafood pasta. The order matched the receipt, but I didn't confirm the receipt matched what I ordered; I use online systems all the time and have never had a problem with them. They also indicated they delivered, we had to pick the order up.
The fried calamari was good, the lobster deviled eggs were unique and excellent, the tuna wonton nachos were ok but the tuna was cut into extremely small (1/4 inch?) pieces and there wasn't much of it. I ordered two farmhouse burgers medium rare, and ended up with a second double order as well instead of my pasta; they ranged from rare to well done. Foetunately between the four of us we found one we liked and they were good.

Tried this place on the recommendation of a friend and couldn’t have been happier. Manager and staff were excellent and very friendly. Food was fantastic and drinks were delicious. We’ve tried most places in the area over the last 4 years and this is one of our favorites.

I was invited to tag along to a show this weekend, and this was the first stop. It was a very disappointing venue as the person in charge was very rude. The first day, I ended up leaving to find other things to do, and today, I was determined to accomplish my food goals. However, again, I was met with the same rudeness. I tried the portobello burger with fries. It wasn't as good as I expected with the price. The feta was too thick, and I found the sauce too heavy, making it too sweet. The fries were overly salty. The plate while cute was unwiped. I was a paying guest who was treated with distain for attending with the entertainment. Pretty disappointed.

I recently visited Calcutta's, located on the property of the Fox Run Golf Resort at 87 Fox Ln Ext, Ludlow, VT 05149. This restaurant boasts a wide variety of menu options that will satisfy everyone in your party. Also, the view of the golf course and patio seating make for excellent ambiance. Here's a rundown of our meal:
? **Poke Nachos**: We started with these delightful nachos. The wonton chips were incredibly satisfying to eat—a great appetizer to share! 9/10
? **Orange Cauliflower with Wild Rice**: This dish was so delicious that it was hard to believe it was cauliflower. It looked like a Chinese chicken dish! Anything that makes vegetables this enjoyable is a win in my book. 9/10
? **Pork Ramen**: This new menu item had great flavor and wasn't too salty. The pork was cooked perfectly. While I'm not a ramen expert, I thoroughly enjoyed it. 9/10
? **Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Frank's Red Hot Sauce and Cole Slaw**: The cole slaw complemented the sandwich perfectly. This was my favorite dish of the night! 10/10
? **Chicken Milanese**: This chicken was cooked to perfection, and the lemon salad paired beautifully with it. 10/10
? **Roasted Beet Salad**: The mesclun greens, roasted beets, and pistachios made for a delicious combination. The roasted beets were huge and so flavorful! 9/10
? **Orecchiette Pasta with Sausage and Broccoli Rabe**: The pasta was tasty but a bit oily. Nonetheless, it was still really enjoyable. 7/10
Overall, the food at Calcutta's is impressive! Here are my ratings:
- **Food**: 9/10
- **Affordability**: 7/10
- **Ambiance**: 8/10

This place used to be a 11/10. Now they're just "meh". The setting is gorgeous, that hasn't changed. They've gone through a number of chefs over the last few years. The current menu is salmon, chicken, burger, pasta, the basics for pretty high prices. They used to have incredible dishes (old favorite was a General Tso's Cauliflower) that sadly haven't lasted the turnover in kitchen staff. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. The hostess that day was a grump who wouldn't even look me in the eye and gave me grief over being seated when my whole family wasn't there but arrived 15 minutes later. They also used to have a bounce house upstairs and free childcare for kids while the adults ate. They converted the space into wedding / event space. Alas, it was too good to last. All that said, this place is still a frequent haunt for us given 1) you can usually get a table, 2) the food is good enough, and 3) the Okemo crowds don't seem to go here as much.

This restaurant is very spacious, open and nicely lit. The greeting upon entry was warm. The playlist was eclectic and had a lot of upbeat songs. The food did not check all the boxes. The fried chicken was all white and delicious and the batter was light and crispy. The fries were excellent! The quesadilla was a disappointing blow to my pallate. I felt awful introducing that to my stomach. The Onion soup was salty and lukewarm, and the bread was soggy. The service was Excellent! - Sarah was gracious and prompt. The bathroom had me fooled because I was unsure of where I was. Upon entering the area I saw lockers and for a moment, I forgot that the restaurant is on a golf course. Don't make the same mistake as me.

Server was uniformed. When asked about wine he stated he was recovering and figures wine probably tastes like grape juice. Had a child with us that had a significant egg allergy. We do realize that this can be an issue and it’s not the restaurants fault, but the server and kitchen couldn’t seem to communicate to explain what would be a safe choice for him. The food was a little bland, but came quickly enough. We were surprised that there were so many places that you couldn’t get a seat at after skiing all day on Okemo that we were able to walk in and sit down at an open table. This place has potential, but they need to up their staff a bit if they can. It’s like their are trying too hard to be upscale with staff and a menu that can’t keep up with it. I’d say, ‘fair’ would be a good rating.

Great beer selection from the region. An excellent stop for dinner on a brewery tour. Great service.
Food was awful. Especially for the cost. Soggy chicken wings. Dry chicken tenders. The fish and chips was a 1/3 of a fish. Cold halibut. Overly sugary mixed drinks. When the waiter came to check on us and saw we were all leaned back with 60% full plates still, he said he’d clear them and didn’t even ask if we wanted a box. As if he knew it was bad.Never going back.

Ate here last night and it was SO GOOD!! We’ve always loved the food but it’s even better now! I had the scallops and risotto and my husband had the sausage penne. Both were delicious! I’m still thinking about it a day later. And the staff is amazing! Please go! You’ll be so happy you did.
